Beer Release (Short's Brew): Mmmkay

Hitting the Lakeichigan recreational area? Love coming there, it is absolutely gorgeous.

 

I am, indeed. Such a great place! Arriving with a new Short's release in tow is straight bliss! I was able to find ControversiAle during my Memorial Day trip, but I missed Spruce Pilsner during another trip around the 4th of July. That was a bummer, but, scoring some Mmmkay would really make this trip special!

 

If you change your route and come thru the Kzoo/Battle Creek area then let me know and I'll try to get some of it for you, but as of now you'll pass about 50 miles from me.

 

If I can get an extra six pack I can meet you in GR (where I live) or Muskegon (where I work). Also, have a spruce pilsner FT. Looking for some fresh IPA's we can't get in Michigan.

 

What part of Ohio are you in? I live in MI now, but from Ohio. I'm not heading down to visit the fam till end of August, though. Will be taking the turn pike to 77 and down to Canton, so if you are along that route and want to wait that long, I can grab an extra sixer if I come across it.

Side note- I hunted this am & nothing in Belleville yet. Heading out to A2 this afternoon and will be peeking around for some.

 

I'm guessing bottles didn't make it out this week?

 

They had bottles at the brewery this week but it hasn't hit retail yet so just working it's way through distribution.

 

Yeah I was told by multiple store owners, one of whom called his rep, and confirmed next week for Grand Rapids.

At least I just found another 6er of India Spruce Jesus Juice. I love you Short's! Distribute Lil' Wheezy!

 

Lil' Wheezy will be a part of the next Shorts variety 12 pack.

Again, I'm sorry about that. However, we DID NOT have a trade set up. That potential trade stalled in negotiations.

If I were driving up alone, I would have liked to link up with more people, including you! I just don't have that type if flexibility on this trip.

 

You said you wanted 2 sixers and I was gonna get flower power and insanity, we agreed to meet at meijers, not sure where the disconnect is?... whatever man guess ill just move on.

 

Just to be clear.

1. We did not agree upon a meeting time.
2. We did not agree upon an address.
3. I told you the flower power was scarce and that I might not be able to get it.

You inquired as to where I might like to meet, but at that point we had not even determined the terms of the trade (and nver actually did btw). Perhaps I should have withheld my response at that point, as I was still feeling things out. I'm sorry.

If anyone in metro Detroit is going to Short's Fest in August, hit me up. I need to get my paws on some Awww Jeah. Favorite Short's brew ever.

 

There is a slight chance that I may go. If I do, I'll def grab you as much Aww Jeah as you want Brian. I'll let you know if I do decide to go.
