Nobi Public House Bottle Share

I plan on finally making it to this one. I really wish I could have made it to the last one, there were a bunch of beers that I would have loved to try. Not sure what I'm going to bring but I'll add my name to the list.

*Edit* Trying to think of what to bring. I can bring a Hardywood GBS and a Buff Bayou GBS for a side by side. I could bring an Oude Tart, Cascade Blueberry, or a RR Beatification. This will be my first time attending a bottle share so I want to bring some good that everyone will enjoy.

 

I'll sneak in and ninja a pour of Cascade Blueberry! That beer is delicious.

 

You just might be. I have a cellar to unload. Maybe this will happen.

There's a blueberry at every bottle share. Don't be the ones to break the cycle. I have several boxes coming in this week. Will make it to nobi if i can find a DD. What time does it start?

My wife is going to DD for me. How long does this usually last?

 

They go a few hours usually. Iv had to bail early a couple times. Some people who stay say the end is the best part looking at all the bottles that still have beer in them and getting to finish them off. Nothing like finding a half full KBS or Parabola just chillin and getting to finish it off after you have already had 30+ other amazing beers.

 

This next share isn't this weekend is it? GODDAMN IT.

You guys are going to do these monthly and I have to work nights every single one forever. Oh well.

I plan to go to this one, don't have anything this time so I'll buy us an app or something. Going to Vermont this month so I can definitely bring a couple goodies from there for the September share.

Did someone talk to Channing about timing? We were a little loud during their peak time of lunch last share. Previously we were meeting after their lunch rush around 3, which is probably a polite habit to keep if we want Nobi to continue to be happy to have us. Hope to see everyone there.

PS - Chris, if I do make it, I'll plan to bring that DR10 for you.

I agree, I think that time was only really good for us haha. I probably wont be able to make it this week unless my wife finds something to do and kicks me out of the house. I should have my heady clone ready for the next one though...

mnguyen281 Im not sure what you mean about blueberry at every nobi share but I challenge you to make it happen for the next one cas I havent tried it and want to!

good advice.. i plan on hitting them up tomorrow, unless someone beats me to it- will see what he says..

 

Hopefully those new tiles they are supposed to be getting in soon will help some.. though they also need some diffusion and absorption on the walls.. it would certainly help and could be done for a few hundred dollars.
