Good call. Although at the price and availability, I fortunately don't acquire too much to get myself into any trouble

I'll third that. Drank two pints in less than 20 minutes when I found it on tap at a pub back in MN. Felt pretty good for the rest of the night.

    Way too many of these...

    Hopslam
    This One Goes to 11
    Double Trouble
    Stone RuinTen
    Brown Shugga'
    Undercover Shutdown
    Lake Erie Monster

The list goes on and on for me. There are more, but these are the ones I've had most recently and their ease of going down came to mind.

Checkout Southern Tier Compass. 9% you would never know, very dangerous. Especially fun from a growler.

Stone enjoy by ipa. It's @9.5% and I get zero alcohol.

Finished a 2L growler with a buddy after going to Stone, so multiple beers were consumed prior, and by the end we were completely useless, more than our normal uselessness.

Whoa! Golden Monkey is boozy as hell. In fact, I taste alcohol a lot more in all Victory beers than in comparable beers from other labels. Come to think of it, that's why I wanted to take a look at this thread.

On the other end, I had no problem with Ruin10, but it was literally the first week after release--yeah, knew the alcohol was there, tasted it, but it did not bother me. At the same time, an Augustiner Maximator (Doppelbock) hit me a lot harder than expected at only 7.5%. Was smooth and malty, with no noticeable heat, but I got a buzz right away.

There are a lot of these, but for some reason Foothills Seeing Double and Imperial Biscotti Break came to mind. Maybe because I've had plenty of recent experience with them.

thinking i could probably compile a pretty lengthy list on this topic. but off the top of my head i've been on a bit of a tripel kick lately, and some of these hide it dangerously well... la fin du monde and pretty things fluffy white rabbits are a couple that come to mind as having contributed to an "accidental" drunk night or two.

Prairie Bomb, hands down. It's 14% and it's the least boozy beer I've ever had.

Marshall Wharf's 2012 batch of cream ale - silky smooth, but stand up after a pint or two and see how life looks. This year's batch has a little more boozy finish and slightly less alcohol, but still great.
