As a very recent convert to the beereligion of Pipeworks, that news makes me sad. I don't usually buy multiples of things... but I would buy the shit out of Coffee Break Abduction.

I've personally seen both sit on shelves but I guess it depends where he goes.

depends a lot on where you go. there is going to be a huge rush on any new abduction variant - but regular abduction (which hasn't been brewed in some time) and coffee abduction have been made before so they stick around for a bit now. i personally saw bottles at beer temple recently, which is telling - beer temple is usually one of the first places to sell out of desired things like that.

    July 29, 2013 Update

This week brings us two new collaboration beers.

Paradisiac was originally brewed as a one off for Adam Vavrick's tap takeover at Norse Bar. It starts life as A Foolish Wit (our Imperial Belgian Wit brewed with amchur and sumac), then we add substantial amount of freshly pureed kiwis and strawberries. The result is a perfectly refreshing summer beer that gets exceedingly high marks for "Crushability." $9.99, 750ml, 7.5% ABV

Date, Sugar, Yeast, Magik is a P-Dubs style Belgian Dubbel brewed in collaboration with Cleetus Friedman, the head chef at Fountainhead. We brewed the beast using 200 lbs of Medjool dates, Demerara sugar, Belgian Candi syrup and Trappist ale yeast. We will be having a release party tomorrow, July 30th at Fountainhead that will include a few suggested food pairings prepared by Cleetus and his staff. $10.99, 22oz, 9.0% ABV

Both are available for pick-up immediately at both Binny's Lincoln Park and West Lakeview Liquors.

    Love,
    P-Dubs

When I left for GI this morning there were boxes of Citra Ninja stacked up in the doorway, and when I returned I saw the Astro Van leaving, and those boxes were significantly reduced. Looking forward to some citra ninja, it's been too long!

For those wondering, tons of paradisiac left @ orland binnys.

Also super excited for citra ninja. It's been very elusive.

Finally got to try citra ninja. Phenomenal beer. Straight up citrus bomb. Loved it.

On that note I saw a picture on twitter with a ton of citra ninjas and some nice ass pipeworks tulips/snifters? Any place in the burbs that sell em or are they just in the city?

PW is working on getting rewards out to kickstarter backers. I don't remember the levels but felt like even a $5 "donation" got you a snifter and some stickers. Wondering if those are for the backer rewards. Also, WLV has had the snifters available before so maybe call them.
