Growling at the Moon - April

I've been a terrible slacker... I still owe someone a box.
I plan to pick up a growler and travelling companions on Monday or Tuesday - if memory serves, it doesn't take too long for a package from me to reach this BA.

 

A box landed just outside of Portsmouth, NH, but in another state on Friday. I hope it's contents arrived safe and sound.

 

Yes it did, Thanks DC55110 and sorry I didn’t post sooner it was a hectic family weekend. Shit I didn’t even have a beer yesterday. Well on to the contents of this wonderful stress relief box.
Inside was:
1can of Tallgrass 8-Bit Pale Ale which was going to be a want.
1 bottle of Zombie Dust
1 bottle of Duck-Rabbit Duck-Rabbator
1 bottle of Unplugged Imperial Weizen
All of which was want’s
A growler of Harriet Brewing Dark Abbey along with a classy Harriet Brewing tulip glass.
I can’t wait to crack the growler as for the other brews. I will be opening one in a moment finishing the Sox’s game. Thanks again Daniel I thoroughly appreciate the box

Now my box will ship Tuesday, I will be packing the box tomorrow at work then my wife will be shipping it the next day. My boss won’t let me ship beer from there but he will let my pack it there. I was waiting for the Portsmouth Imperial IPA to come on yesterday. So if that is on your wants list this box might be coming to you. Hopefully you think it was worth your wait.

That 8-Bit can design is freaking awesome.

 

Glad my box didn't arrive on Fri or Sat, as we were gone for the weekend. Looking forward to tearing into a box soon!

I dropped off my package last night for a second delivery attempt. If something happens to it this time i'll be shocked.

 

Sorry about the wait, patient growler target. I had a death in the family and had to come home yesterday morning. I was planning on shopping/shipping on Tuesday (my day off) but things happen. I should still make the deadline I believe, as my target state is only a few North of me. Anyway, cheers!

One of the last packages is finally on its way. My apologies for not getting the growler to my target in time to enjoy it this weekend. Set to land on Monday (I'm way too cheap to spend the crazy extra $40 on second day air).
Hopefully, one of the bottles makes up for it....imo the best beer brewed in Ohio.

I don't feel too bad about being a slacker as I am, myself, awaiting a growler for this round. Fair is fair

 

While I realize a bunch of folks are waiting still, Guy did mention that we were going to use the new moon (4/21) as the deadline for this round. So no one is technically late as of yet in my opinion.

I think this round creeped up pretty quickly on a bunch of us, but as long as everyone is on the same page with regards to the firm deadline there shouldn't be much of an issue.

Looking forward to round 4 already, thinking about going with Haymarket for the next round as opposed to Flossmoor / Half Acre (unless I can find something on my next target's wants from one of those breweries).

While I did receive in March, what bearing does that have on the fact that 4/21 was our deadline for this round?

If we have a bunch of delinquent senders then I would suggest Guy not let them particpate in future rounds.

Personally I have too much beer as it is, so as long as I get a decent box eventually I wouldn't mind if I got it at the beginning of a cycle or end of a cycle (for those who might be shipping to me in the future).

Quality of boxes far outweighs what time in a given cycle you receive in my opinion, but hey everyone is entilted to their own opinion. I would much rather have a sender wait a couple of weeks for a special growler than just rush to a local brewpub to grab something to send out to be on time.
