Nice air, that's awesome. Houstonians, both Meer Koebel and Gingerbread Stout at Growler's.

I saw quite a few at specs midtown. I still have mine from the first release and have had this beer many times before it was released in a bottle. I dont know if I understand the hype. Its good but not enough to seek out, in my humble opinion.

    Agreed.

I'll have it if I stumble upon it on tap, but no way I'm throwing down over $10 for a bomber after I have to hunt it down.

Ya, I mean I agree that it isn't anything crazy special BUT I personally really really enjoy it. I thought it would go extremely fast but am pumped to see it hasnt. Had one of my four last night (thanks Chow!!!) and will definitely be picking a few more. I think its damn tasty!

Also was curious if anyone noticed any difference between this batch and the previous. I remember it being much hotter and having more alcohol burn before and this one is just more spice gingerbread goodness without the burn. Maybe my taste buds have changed though. Thoughts?

Yo, if anyone in ATX is interested in this Spec's Brodie has like 3-4 cases and nobody seems to give a shit about it.

$15???? Parabola and Abyss both cost this much or less and are actually worth the price.

This is an absolute ripoff price point.

To be honest, I hated this beer on draft. While the bourbon barrel version was a big upgrade, I definitely would not order it twice. Meer Koebel's the best beer I've had from them so far and I'd stick to buying their stuff on draft if in Houston.

Yeah, I disliked on draft but nitro'd changed my mind. And definitely, Meer Koebel is their best so far. Can't wait to let a few develop over time.

Yeah I got three...just going to age 'em. Except for that time when I'll be intoxicated and open one just to enjoy fresh hah

Not paying that much for a bomber...not reason to buy it. If I see it on tap, then maybe...if that. Tons of More Cowbell sit at the Katy Mills Specs.
