Releases expected in July

Austin, yeah. I was at Specs Airport earlier and they had it.

 

I'm pretty sure Graham said this was more likely to be a candidate for a year-round than the DIPA. While I don't agree with the ZD comparison I think it's a nice alternative to switch between HIPA and Fire Eagle.

 

Lol I love it. HM DIPA = Awesome - "MAKE THIS YEAR ROUND!!!"

HM Half IPA = Awesome - "WISH WE COULD GET THIS YEAR ROUND!!"

I see a trend beginning with this HM series....

 

Have you had the Black IPA (it was tap only earlier this year)?

I think that one might actually have been my favorite. Half was close.

 

No I haven't. Sadly I'm in Houston so I have to figure out ways to get these. Feel pretty blessed that I have had 2 4 packs of DIPA and have 2 4 packs of the Half that I will pick up Friday.

 

I may or may not have had the Black IPA back when it was on tap at a few places... can't remember. Really kicking myself. I remember thinking, "Fire Eagle is good, and Black Thunder is pretty good, but there are SO MANY THINGS I need to try that aren't HM BIPA."

But now ABW has me kicking myself because I could drink the DIPA and HIPA all day every day. Seriously great.

 

Now I know what to bribe you... er... send you in Georgia.

I think we need an August thread now. As is normal for Texas, some of the expected July releases moved to August releases, namely the Stone collabs.

Had some half IPA from the source today at the Brewery, and yes I agree, it's amazing. They said the next 2 in the series are a Belgian IPA and a Wet hopped IPA, they said they were flyin' some hops over from Oregon as soon as they get picked. Looking forward to that one.

 

Was at Brandon's yesterday and noticed some Sprecher beers on the shelf. He confirms that the Sprecher Bourbon Barrel Aged Hard Root Beer is coming in a couple weeks. YESSSSSSSS I love that stuff!

 

That sounds Awesome. I wonder if we'll ever see Saint Arnold do a Bishops Barrel root beer. I'd be all about that

 

I got a couple bottles at Growler's Montrose. Drinking it now. Worth picking up.
