    Hey guys,

I totally understand that I fucked up. I wasn't using my deployment as an excuse, its a matter of fact. I can't get the beer to him because my wife is in Michigan. I didn't intentionally do this to him. I would send it right now if I could. I could explain every detail that lead up to this whole ordeal but in the end who cares? I shouldn't have tried to make a trade so close to my deployment and it came back to bite me in the ass. With this all being said I would appreciate it if the threats and posts on my social sites would come to an end.

I owe him a BA Bigfoot and some add ins. I even planned to make it up to him and send him a westy.

I have no horse in this race and appreciate you serving our country. The easiest way to make any unwanted posts go away would be to just send the man his beer that you admittedly owe him. Don't start adding 'more promises of beer' to this, just get him what you owe him and be done with it.

I wasn't adding any more promises. I don't like that I have done this to him. I can't do anything about this from where I am right now. I didn't have to reply to this thread at all. I could have ignored it and just went on with life. I didn't reply to it to make excuses. I replied to state that I know I screwed up and understand the consequences.

As someone in military you must understand that we take care of each other because there is no one else to do it.

Until he gets his beer you owe him none of this will stop, so why don't you just have your wife send the beer as you could have done yourself any time prior to your deployment?

My guess is you never had the beer you promised to send, and your wife doesn't have it now, but if you do have it that actually is even worse. The choice I see is only between how big of a jackhole you are, not if you are one. Have the beer sent and you will be forgiven (if not forgotten).

And as far as your replying to this thread, it is pretty much standard procedure for many jackkholes, including Frddymck, so don't break an arm patting your own back.

Have your wife send the beer. If you don't than you and everyone will know what you are, it is our only defense against folks like you.

Hey guys, wow, this thread got a response from him, so I am grateful for that!

Yes, as Brian said, he owes me BA Bigfoot and some locals. Yes, it's not a huge trade, but I was looking forward to them (this being only my second trade on here).

He sent me two private messages last night, offering to buy me something online and have it shipped to me immediately, and then still having his wife send me the package I am owed when she is back in town. I guess we'll see.....

I understand you ability to solve this is a little tougher where your at, but have your wife box the stuff up and ship it if you have his stuff. If for some reason you don't have what you agreed upon, work with EvilAsh for a substitute, from wherever your wife is staying while your gone and have her ship it, problem solved for a few bucks.

You can't buy him anything on line he lives in Pa and they don't ship into Pa anymore, they changed that law last year.

You had time to pose and show off his beer you got on this site, if you had his stuff it easily could have and been shipped, it wasn't like your deployment date snuk up on you. My son was in deployment mode for at least three month's, and he had more than enough time to get his affairs in order. You did too.

Stay safe, my son in in FOB Salerno he's AF attached to the 10th Mountain.

I appreciate everyone trying to offer advice but none of you know what happened right before I deployed. I had my vehicle broken into at my own home and they stole my military body armor. The government issues those to us and I had to pay $1600.00 in order to be issued a new one. They collect that all at once, and if they can't they take it out of your next check. I went two months with no pay. Now that I have solid internet and communication between EvilAsh and I, I am working on getting him something to put him at ease until my wife returns back to Washington to ship off the Bigfoot. You're all right, my deployment didn't sneak up on me but other circumstances did.

Some things suck, IMO you should not have had to reimburse for a break in, but that's a different story too, my son had to buy some things on his own because he's AF and not army.

Realize this shit show isn't for not shipping product, first and foremost it was all caused by lack of communication. If you would have let him know what was going on none of this would be an issue.

from oldp0rt: "I contacted both members like I always do and oliver replied once with an excuse (also saying tracking would be provided very shortly) then nothing." **bolds added**

Glad to hear you are finally sayaing you are going to take care of it.

Poor communication is inexcusable today. Even if your computer was stolen, even if you had no money for a phone call, unless you live in a wilderness with no electricity there is always a computer for use free of charge, so whatever excuse you want to use for why you didn't have the 20.00 to send beer, you are gonna hafta dig a whole lot deeper to try and excuse your total lack of communication and magical ability to post yourself enjoying the beer you got.

Until he actually gets the beer you owe none of this is over.

I did actually but after that I didn't have good communication because I was shifting from one place to another overseas and then my wife left for Michigan...so it all adds up to me not being able to get this beer out. I am trying to get him something online right now but it seems most places don't ship to PA or NJ.

I'm an understanding guy, but this is the first I've heard about the break-in from you Brian. I'm an understanding guy, so if you complete the trade I have no problem taking you off the bad trader list.

I'll be more than happy to send The BA Bigfoot in your place if that's ok with all concerned. Realize this is about communication first and foremost, the other stuff can always be worked out, but when things go dark and no word at all things turn to shit. My sons remote but I can still IM with him, he can skype with his wife every now and then, so if he can you can too, as your doing now, he was in comm all the way thru Kabul until he went dark for 3-4 days or so after reaching his FOB. So really there's no reason you couldn't have gotten a message to EvilAsh if you had wanted too. Just my opinion.

Brian made me aware of some more stuff I didn't know about today via private message, so I don't hold any hard feelings against him. Yes, he should have been more up front with me about his wife being out of town and the other issues he was going through several weeks ago, but in the scheme of things, beer does not seem that important. I'm cool with however Brian decides to proceed from here, as long as I eventually get my end of the trade.

I don't need anyone to complete my commitments for me but I appreciate it. nc41, I understand your sons experiences but they are not my own.

Everyone just continue to make your assumptions and weigh in on something that has nothing to do with you.

Anyway, I told oldport of my financial issues and if he didn't inform you of that then I apologize, EvilAsh. I hope that with our new agreement we can both get past this.

OldP0rt did mention you were having financial difficulties Brian, but honestly I just thought you were giving him another excuse since it was the first I've heard of it. It was at that time that I messaged you that I would pay for the shipping to get the beer to me.
