Hate to give WI too much credit, but FFF, Alesmith, Toppling Goliath, and Green Flash are tough to beat. MN has a shot if they get some of the Alpine from Cold Spring.

The real winner will be the first to get FW.

Looking solely at out of state breweries here are what I thought were notable differences. I don't get to Wisconsin much, but from what I see I'm giving them the edge.

    Minnesota
    1. Bouelvard
    2. Brooklyn
    3. Deschutes
    4. Great Divide
    5. Kona
    6. Odell
    7. Stone
    8. Ballast Point

    Wisconsin
    1. Bear Republic
    2. Green Flash
    3. Hoppin Frog
    4. Oskar Blues
    5. The Bruery
    6. Three Floyds
    7. Toppling Goliath
    8. Dogfish head
    9. Sixpoint
    10. Smuttynose
    11. Ale Smith

^That list makes me feel all sorts of things, but mostly that I need to visit Wisconsin more often.

So because the 'Nova gets kegs of Toppling Goliath the state is considered to get distribution of their beer? Or is it more widely spread than that? Three kegs in a state does not equal distribution.

Their beers regularly show up in Madison. Not sure how many bottles do but I know plenty of kegs make their way there.

MN gets odd random mediocre stuff that disappears after a couple weeks. I think that clutters up our shelves. WI seems to only have winners on the shelf.

Not that it pertains to the poll (or does it?), The thing that stands out on that list to me is how expensive some of those WI ones are. FFF, Bruery, DFH, Hoppin Frog and Oskar Blues are all in the premium price category.

I live in La Crosse, which is right on the border so I get the best of both worlds, New Glarus, Surly, Odell, Ale Asylum and many many more! But I do have to give a slight edge to WI.

With great distribution in both states, it's hard to complain.
