The unlabeled beer is something one of my brewers at redhook made! Its widmers kgb stout aged in Woodinville whiskey barrels. As far as I know he only bottled two! Glad the box made it safely and I hope you enjoy the beer!

I went through the thread fairly recently and tried to update the spreadsheet based on pics and/or people saying they'd post the pron later. It looks like only a couple of unclaimed boxes remain

So Fred decided to scare the shit out of me this morning. Thought someone was breaking into my house. As I was running down the stairs fist ready for what ever was about to meet its doom, and then the overwhelming smell of old ale runs across my nose. I turn around thinking shit someone's gotten into my beer. But the HOD Fred decided it was too good to be drank and it exploded like a damn rocket. Strange to see the bottom break off and launch the bottle across the room. I have had caps before and over carb home brew turn into grenades but never seen this before. Guess at least my office closet will smell awesome for a while until my wife complains.

 

Well I feel as if you will be needing another Fred. I'll see if I can any of the non exploding kind!

 

I had the same experience with Fred. I went to grab one in the basement, lifted it out of the box and it was super light. The bottom was completely blown off.

 

Damn, guess I know what I'll be drinking tonight.....that is if it is still intact

 

I might have sent two exploding Freds. Coincidence? I think not.

 

I think I may have found that one in NYC. You're in the clear.

 

Thank god for small favors, I don't want that kind of reputation.
