I'm thinking about offering up my bottle of BCBS Cherry and want Hunahpu's (regular or BA), is it reasonable to ask for something like Gates of hell in addition to a non-ba Hunahpu's? (don't TS, I honestly don't know) If not, what would be reasonable?

i've seen regular huna trade frequently with cherry 1:1. so the answer is no.

Cherry and Huna are basically 1:1 from what I've seen. I've seen Bramble + Cherry go for BA Huna + Cucumber Saison.

2X cherry could get you BA Huna I would think.

I personally traded '13 Huna's 1:1 for both a Cherry & a Bramble. In the ISO that cetherid posted, Rac is being very generous and probably just trying to go over to lock it down quick.

Gates of Hell is a $20 brewery only release, I don't think you will be able to do a Cherry for a '13 Huna and a Gates of Hell unless you get lucky and the right person sees your post. It's not impossible though, maybe someone will be feeling good today like Rac in the above post and do it for you. I'd be more willing to send you a '13 Huna and a Zhukov or Good Gourd, which are $13 big bottle releases.

You only know if you make the ISO and see what happens.

It was the above thread that spurred this thread.

We've worked something out along the lines of what you offered... if it falls through I'll BM you.

I appreciate everyone's feedback as I'm still pretty unfamiliar with what CCB beers pull.

I am trying to figure out the same thing about the BC varients.

A buddy has Cherry and Coffee and wants to try to get Bramble, Vanilla and Rare.
I know the Bramble may be the easiest to get. I was trying to do searches but the "value" is all over the place.

He has some good stuff. Just have no clue what to tell him.

Bramble should be easy. A Huna should get it done, but if not, a Huna plus maybe another big bottle seasonal, growler or some fresh Jai Alai, etc.

Vanilla & Rare are far less cut & dry. I'd say with them, you need to see what you have to trade, figure out what you are willing to give up for whichever one you are focusing on, make a post and be prepared for either trolls or doing some haggling on the back end in BM. These two seem to be a lot more about catching the right person at the right time.

If somebody has a Bramble to trade for a Huna, hit me up. I can do the Huna+ some other limited CCB stuff per this post if someone can even it up a bit $4$ with some locals. Oops, wrong forum !!!

Bramble isn't easy anymore. 6 months ago, you could get it without much trouble...but now it trades with with (or maybe slightly above) cherry. Vanilla is in another stratosphere, and rare is above that.

Conveniently, coffee is the easiest to get by far, and it's also the best

Bramble definitely isn't easy anymore. In my FT post I definitely got a decent amount of cherry rye responses and heard crickets for bramble. I am hoping to land one from another BA that has extras.

Big gene for reference, my buddy landed a rare for his BA huna straight up. Now that was before everyone knew how many would
Be released etc. that's a good starting point.

In terms of vanilla, I've never tried it but I have heard it
Tastes just like aged BCBS for what it's worth.
