More bottles for sale on Friday than last year when it lasted for pretty much the entire day. Nice.

Anyone see a price on this? Assuming it is in the 500 ml R&D bottles, what have those typically sold for?

I asked the same question on FB to NG this evening. Hopefully I'll hear back.

Are the flutes usually in stock at the brewery?

    Hmmm...
Looks like a 2 hour lunch on Friday. It's a 45 min drive to the brewery from work. :grinning:

Figures the year I go to great taste they don't release any R&D's at the brewery but the year before they release Gueuze and Kriek, the year after Sour Ale and the year Sour Blackberry.....talk about shitty timing on my part :slight_frown:

My co-worker thinks there is going to be a massive line Friday morning. It's not like this is a big planned event.

I think everyone said that last year and was freaking out about it. Ended up a small handful of people got there super early, and the bottles lasted for almost the entire day. Plus, they were only selling 600 bottles last year compared to 720 this year.

I'm from Chicago...I'll just show up at the end and cut the line, so I don't care how busy it is. Do work, son.

I feel like it could go either way. The first day last year was a Thursday, and I think a lot of people skipped Thursday knowing they would stop on Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Total bottles are slightly less this year (1430 vs 1800), and for me the beer is slightly more desirable this year. I'm thinking this will be last year's Sour Ale (or something very similar) aged on Blackberries.
