    Founders Tap Takeover at Kraftwork!!

    Started things off with some Doom since I hadn't had it yet. I was pretty excited for this one but honestly I felt like the hops and the barrel aging clashed pretty badly.

    Moved onto the new shit Mango Magnifico. Wow this was great! Sweet mangoes and just the right amount of habanero burn that builds up in the back of the throat as you drink. The sweet and hot complimented each other so much. Flavor wise it was a little intense, not sure I could kill a bomber myself but what I had was excellent.

    Finishing things off with some KBS. Less coffee and lots more chocolate than I remember but I guess that's expected 4 months out. Still amazing!

    I wish I had the time, money, liver to stay here all night. Some highlights that I'm skipping out on:
    Curmudgeon's Old Ale
    Backwoods Bastard
    Rubaeus
    Breakfast Stout
    And about 8 more on tap.

    They also have Frangelic Mountain Brown and Boltcutter by the bottle. Frangelic was good, I don't care what anyone says. And I was really hoping to have some Boltcutter on tap as I really liked it last time I saw it, but $28/bottle would have seriously limited my intake of all the other goodness that was present.

    I think it is a one beer kind of beer, not bad but I'll have another one in a day or two. (I bought a 4 pack.) A tiny bit sweet, would like more tartness.

    Yeah, I was looking for more tart too...I'm wondering if I let it warm up a bit if it would be a bit more tart. ??

    Is it me, or does this year's seem a bit thin? I got almost no head retention what so ever. Taste is still great though.

    Do you find it harder to do basic things like cook...and put on flip flops after downing that bottle possibly a little to quickly? Jokes on the wife, since its my turn to cook tonight.
