SWTFYW Hints and Hauls!!!

Look what I found! The brewery was out, but a local place was just getting theirs when I arrived today. As it is one of my targets wants, my target will be getting it.

Hint #2 My target's state is smaller than mine
Hint #3 My target has more wants, gots and hads than me

 

To my target - sorry, I've been slow to fill your box. I only have a hair over 200oz. right now, but that will increase before I send.

I've already added 8 of your wants and will be picking up 4 or 5 more. I should hit just about 20% of your wants in this box alone!

Hint - Even though the distance is great I have enjoyed a beer or two from your state. I might also have some in my cellar.

Hint #1 - I dislike some of the sports teams from my targets state! Being from Ohio this could be any state other than Idaho...who has a problem with Idaho?- Im guessing your an Ohio State fan and if thats true you hate Michigan.

Hint 2 I traveled to your state this year for a special release brew. - Maybe a KBS release?

Hint 3 My favorite NCAA football team beat the team from your state even though it didn't matter. OSU beat both MSU & UOFM on the way to their perfect season but didnt matter due to bowl ban.

Hint 4: I have a BORIS but not a BA BORIS...

 

Hint #4 - my target's state is the final resting place for a particular American legend, although he was born in mine.

 

Started putting together a list of my what my target will be getting from me.

Confirmed: 250oz+ all made in TX or OK, with an average rating of 92.5. Volume-wise, mostly sours, but there will be a good mix of my targets style wants (sorry...still can only hit 1 actual want).

Depending on what's available for growler fills this weekend, might add another 32-48oz of some good local stuff. If all goes well, I'll be sending a small growler of a dark, delicious brew that I personally love. My target would dislike the general style of the beer, but would like the treatment it received. I was on the fence about this one, but then again...SWTFYW.

 

Did some boxing tonight. Looks like we're gonna need a second box. Guess ill have to keep shopping.....

 

Hint #3: My target has a far more sophisticated palette than mine, both in likes and hads. And wants

 

Five days till my target's box leaves the STL. As it stands now, this box is filled with 291oz of beer. But I am following the blogs of my local stores hoping to catch another early fall release or two. Final hint: my target has mentioned me in this forum as their possible sender.

 

If my sender could request that their carrier hold the package at one of their locations, that would be great. My residence is right on the street and I would worry about something sitting out there while I'm at work.

I'm not sure how the recipient is notified that the package is at a facility though; by notifying the recipient or depending on the tracking number.

I meant to add that I should packing this weekend and shipping on Monday.
Somebody should have a box on Wednesday.

Will be doing my last night of bottle shopping tonight for my target. He will be getting a few new ticks from some newer Chicago area breweries Spiteful, 18th Street and Pipeworks- all depends on what the shop has, but they are all pretty damn good. The box will finish with over 300 ozs and an average rating well over 90. I'll be shipping this massive porch bomb on Monday. My target can expect total porch destruction on Wednesday if I remember correctly, as I have shipped to this state before.
