Do you know what's going to be available bottled vs on tap/cask? I'm definitely going to try to be there. I had a small barrel sample of the Splinter during Washington Beer Open House. Excellent.
I found the list below here: http://www.blackravenbrewing.com/2012_FlockParty.htm Sunthief Kristallweizen Totem Pale Ale Trickster IPA Tamerlane Brown Porter Second Sight Strong Scotch Morrighan Nitro Stout Wisdom Seeker Double IPA Old Birdbrain 2011 Barleywine Feral Saison Schwarzeit Black Lager Gunpowder Plot Nitro Stout Kitty Kat Blues Nitro Pale 2011 La Petite Mort Belgian Brown 2012 Splinters Bourbon Barrel Scotch 2012 Pour Les Oiseaux Saison Raven de Garde IPA El Beaux Dark Lager 2011 Grandfather Raven Imperial Stout CASK - La Petite Mort Fonce CASK - Coco Jones Coconut Porter CASK - Snickerdoodle Stout CASK - Possum Claus
I went last year and it was a blast...and I won't be surprised if they bring more stuff up. The list seems short compared to last year...I I remember correctly the casks were outside...and basically as soon as one was drained it was replaced with a different one. They definitely had more than four. The Possum Claus is great!
They have not mentioned anything about a bottle release, so probably no bottles to go. No growler fills on the limited/rare and cask beers either, which is a standard disclaimer. I had the 2011 Splinters, 2011 Possum Claus (bourbon barrel pecan ale), and 2010 Old Birdbrain at the party last year, and all were top notch. I really hope they bust out Great Grandfather as a surprise!
I was there last year & it was a blast. Very much looking forward to this year. Bring your favorite tasting glass & share your pint (or 12 oz pour - whatever) with friends so you can taste more beers without getting wasted.

My report on the party on Saturday... http://eclecticartswa.blogspot.com/2012/05/in-name-of-flock-black-raven-flock.html I'd love to hear from those that were there later in the afternoon and into the evening.
I was there early as well, and I believe this is what I had: Splinters (probably my favorite, but knew that before the day started) Bourbon La Petite Mort La Petite Mort Fonce Possum Claus Pour Les Oiseaux Old Birdbrain and after those, I was damn well buzzed. Great beer as usual and a super well ran event. Always a good time at the Flock Party
I arrived about 12:15 and had the following: Pour Les Oiseaux Possum Claus Old Birdbrain (2011) La Petite Mort Fonce Raven de Garde Very festive. Larger crowd than last year. Very well managed. All lines quick & smooth. Can't wait until next year already.
I got there at 3:30 or so and had: Grandfather Raven Old Birdbrain Gunpowder Plot and Wisdom Seeker for the nightcap. Gunpowder was my favorite of the afternoon/evening! Great event...love their special beers...looking forward to next year!
Splinters was probably my favorite as well (had had it before though). It looks like it's being released this Saturday according to BR's FB post....
Yeah, I saw that in the WABL newsletter for this month that it was being release, just wish it would be in bottles. But sadly (but not that sad), I'm going to be in Portland for Breakside's anny party this weekend. Two weekends and two awesome brewery anny parties, it's a good time of the year
