Heading up to 3 Floyds

Incorrect, it sells out fast(24hrs the last release) and am not sure if it has been available since then. Its really hit or miss depending on when you go to the brewpub.

 

I've gotten some ZD the last two Wednesdays. I've gone around 12:30-1 both days and have not had to wait behind a single person. Seems like Wednesday is the day they release all their beer, at least the six packs. There were only two bomber choices today. Website is not updated daily, but their hotline is. Call that to find out before you go.

 

I have read on several threads here that the Floyds are great with public relations and social outreach.

 

Only when the brewery isn't burning down.

 

Repeated fires do tend to take their toll on the public relations and morale in general.

 

Yea they must not be posting it online after the 1st time then, which I heard had a 2 hour "to go" line.

They just updated their brewery and bottling line so they are behind but are supposedly going to be able to pump more out now.

 

The to-go window is a separate door from the brewpub, so the 2-hour line was for that. Although there is indeed usually a wait for a seat as well, how long depends on day of week, time of day, etc.

 

This... I was there 2 Fridays ago got there at 2:30pm and waited in line for roughly an hour or so and literally walked out with the second to last case. When I got up to the counter there was actually 2 cases left but decided to "beer it forward" so I bought 1 case and left the last case for the guys behind me in line.
