What breweries have you recently visited?

I don't know how to break this to you so I'll just come right out with it. New Glarus was a huge Obama donor. Both times.

 

Went by my neighborhood brewery Southern Brewing and picked up some Munich malt syrup for a partial mash recipe I come up with, some Pilsen DME for yeast starters and a growler of their wonderful Black Veil CDA.

 

I frequent Austin TX breweries a bit but mostly Hops & Grain, Jester King and last weekend in Houston's Karbach.

 

Visited Troegs and Peekskill last week while traveling North to Maine. Ventured into Maine Beer Co.(2x) and Infiniti F+D over the last two days. Stowe, VT is next weeks destination - gonna' taste at as many as we can.

 

Last week I visited Spring House, Lancaster Brewing and Pizza Boy in PA.

 

I recently went to Trillium and Maine Beer Company. MBC was great! The amount of beers you can sample is fantastic. Trillium is in a cool spot in the Fort Point area of Boston but unfortunately the city is too uptight to allow samples. Took home a few growlers and wasn't dissappointed.

Went to kuhnhenn and dragonmead about a month ago. I am going to Founder's and odd side next week

 

In the last month I've been to The Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, Waitsfield Farmer's Market (Which I feel is basically a trip to Lawson's), Jack's Abby, Blue Lobster & Ommegang. All are great in their own ways.

If you want to count the rest of this year then I've been to Samuel Adams, Allagash and Jack's Abby about 3-4 more times.

 

Within the last month I've been to Tired Hands, Troegs, East End, and Funky Buddha.

 

Foothills yesterday - but that is pretty much a weekly occurrence (if not more)

 

Maine Beer Co. Very impressed with the facility, people, and beverages.

 

Checked out Ommegang in Cooperstown. Great beer tasting! Just wish I could've gotten tix to BCTC.

 

That makes 2 of us. I was there on Thursday and the set up looked like it would be such a great event.

 

Breaker Brewery in Wilkes Barre, Pa.
Picked up a growler of what they call Minefire. It's a blackberry jalapeño ale.

 

Harpoon's relatively new beer hall in Boston is right next to their barreling facility. You can watch them keg as you drink and eat pretzels. Pretty cool place.

I need to get out to see some breweries. Especially the Vermont ones.

 

Unless you're talking about a different Southern Tier, the brewery will be quite out of your way on that trip.

 

@ericvillhauer and I are gearing up for a trip down to Asheville! Can't wait!!!

 

Nowhere exciting, but took the time to visit O'Connor and Smartmouth here in Norfolk, VA. I'm looking forward to whenever Smartmouth begins to bottle/can. Their Notch 9 DIPA is off the chain!

 

Wow, you really get around...Belgium this summer and then taking a detour to Lakewood NY on your way from NOLA to Pensacola...
