Duck Duck Gooze was in extremely high regards and high demand, so Lost Abbey decided to make 7200 more bottles, yet people complain about it. For example "duck duck is one of my biggest wants, I wish I could land a bottle but people ask too much for it and there is barely any left"... Solution, new batch... Now people say "oh man, that's 'way too many bottles'. It's not trading for wAlezbro now.. Lets all make fun of it because lost abbey took care of us and made enough bottles to go around."

I guess point being, MAKE UP YOUR MIND! Don't complain about there being "too much" of a beer, just embrace it and appreciate these breweries for responding to your requests. Everyone's like a whiny teenage female who can never be satisfied.

So how many did everyone order at forty bucks? Sold out is $288,000....and I believe I read it is gone.

As Dwayne The Rock Johnson used to say before he went Disney..."It doesn't matter what you think."

I am not seeing the complaints you reference about "too many bottles of great beer being made". Maybe I am drinking with the wrong crowd.

Yeah this is confusing. Nobody worth speaking with would be complaining about having an ample supply of beer versus having extreme difficulty in obtaining a beer just to raise its trading value.

If you want a beer to drink a high count is better. If you want a beer to barter with a low count is better.

I'm fairly certain that everyone gets this. The point is, what kind of douche bag actually wants to see lower counts?

These complaints would be hypothetically annoying if they ever happened.

OP if you want to complain about a problem that actually exists how about a rant about jackholes who score 5 for hads just so they can get them ticked on the BA database?

I haven't reported you but someone should.

I say that about Dark Lord, but not due to trade value.

Huh? I've never heard somebody complain over too much beer getting made. The only people I can even imagine doing that are the Ebay selling crowd, or those that genuinely thought they were going to land Rare with this DDG release.

Looking at the ISO:FT board, you'd be lucky to get a DDG for Rare currently, seems Rare is too much of a shelf whale to be considered.

A simple FT: Rare, ISO: DDG would get done in less time than it took me to write this post. I think Rare for 2 DDG's would even happen pretty quickly.

The problem is everybody in ISO:FT just overcomplicates everything nowadays by trying to maximize value, shoot for the moon, or throw out crazy 5 bottle trades that severely limit their chances.

Sorry if it was a little confusing. Had a few in me. Also I guess I should have put this in the trading section, as to that's the only crowd of people it really applies to.

Once you sober up maybe you can fix the 5's you gave almost everything in your beer hads. Perhaps you think I am being an ahole, but trying to keep the usefulness of the beer ratings safe from abusers is something I am not the only one who takes seriously. I really don't like reporting folks, so maybe you would prefer to handle it yourself. Sorry to not do this by conversation, but I think it is important for others to understand that randomly giving out meaningless ratings won't be tolerated by folks who notice it. Hopefully this will help discourage it.

Except that it doesn't apply in the trading section either as nobody ever complained about more bottles of an awesome beer being produced. Bolt Cutter on the other hand ....

Maybe because I don't go around clicking "want or gots or hads" very often. If I clicked 5 that's because I thought it was a 5, and if anyone gets touchy about that subject, that's real annoying. It's a 5 for me and that's all I care about. I don't have time to rate the hundreds and hundreds of beers I've had and tried.
