I was there yesterday and when I was leaving (around 5ish) they were having a big employee meeting in the long side room - so maybe, hopefully, the date was dropped to them then. Going back this afternoon to pick up some stuff for a BIF I'm in - so I'll try to pry something out.

Got no new info today (but the person that I usually talk to was not there). All I got today is that they are going to be redesigning their website. I'll try again on Saturday. Going up there after the Small Batch tasting at City Beverage

Lol I was told at the reg SC release by the brand new marketing guy that the website would be redone within a month. LOL< they have one of the worst websites for any brewery I have ever seen

Their website looks world class compared to Duck-Rabbit. It looks like something I would have hacked up back in the Windows 95 days.

Duck-Rabbit's got that sweet geocities vibe.

Foothills' website isn't that bad. There are far worse out there.

Damn, beat me to it! As soon as I read the previous post, I immediately thought "this guy has obviously never seen the DR website." Hahaha, it's so terrible.

Duck Rabbit just makes me sad.....they're one of the oldest craft breweries in the state, and I'm STILL talking about the potential they have (if they ever start to barrel-age more).

They are like the Benjamin Button of craft beer.

wow Duck Rabbits is like a 3 year old made it. I guess it is par for the course the beers are not that good either.

Before the /flame on... I have had only 3 of their beers and was not impressed with them.

You can gather a perception about DR's potential if you try the BA Baltic Porter, but they exhibit no ambition to increase the quailty of their bottled beer. I find it silly that Rabid Duck is the only non-BA beer in ORF.

DR has been disappointing as of late in my opinion. I recently purchased this years RD and it just fell short. This brew was way better years ago. However, I did have their scotch ale this year and it was solid.

    very fine point there.

They have gone down hill Gene..... Don't buy anything from them anymore after getting burned the last few times!

I did not mean to turn this into a Duck-Rabbit bashing thread. However, their web site is worthy of the bashing.

Do you mean the only beer used that does not have a BA version? If so I am not so sure that is accurate. At least I have never had the pleasure of BA OH Imperial Stout. Event Horizon is a different beer. While I really enjoy it, I think BA OH Imperial Stout would be even more impressive since the base beer is fantastic.

Yeah... I guess this will likely derail this thread again. Apologies in advance.

The BA stout that OH contributes to ORF is irrespective of what I stated, that Rabid Duck is not barrel-aged before it is added to ORF whereas the other two constituents are BA beers.

Eh....that's my bad....just venting frustration cause I know they can be so much better.

So....how about that BA Sexual Chocolate? What barrel are they going to use this year?
