I wish I had some abductions in my cellar, but I either end up drinking it all or sending bottles to friends that can't get PW goodness.

 

Yeah, don't know how much pipeworks I have shipped out this past year. I do have some Coffee Abduction waiting in my wine chiller

 

Does anyone know where I may still be able to find a bottle of Orange Truffle? I'm looking to take one with me to TX for a fellow BA but haven't had any luck. Thanks in advance.

I also thought my bottle purchased from WLV was on the flat side. I believe mine was batch 177. Wasn't a drain pour for me, but it was disappointing none the less.

 

Mine was the same. Not the same Citra Ninja I'm used to unfortunately.

 

All my Citras have been batch 175. This is important, you know? I've had 2 and a couple left and so far they have been fine. I saw on Untapped someone mentioned they were drinking batch 177. Do you have those?

I also assume by your use of the word "castle", you went to the Binny's on Clark. I recommend you just call it, "the Binny's on Clark," rather than the castle.

The "castle" is the Binny's on Marcey street next to goose island clyborn.

 

I know what Castle Vav is. My point is Castle Vav has a limit of 2 on the shelves for Citra Ninja. If he gets a case from there, he's just being a dick. Even if he went back 6 times, that's just being a dick. I know a lot of people are like, "Dude, capitalism and shit!". I just think it's a dick move.

For full disclosure, I picked up my FwB on Saturday and my sister, in town from Brooklyn, picked up two. I bought one more on Wednesday. We have two here are at the condo and will be drinking them this weekend when my sister comes back to stay the night with us.

 

There may be a limit now, but there wasn't when the batch came out. I got 6 from LP Binnys, and so did several other people I know.

Interesting that no one who has reported flat beers has mentioned the batch number, though. 175 has been fine for me.

Yes, I bought a case, no there wasn't a limit. I just opened another from "castle vavgina" and it was flat and malty also. This is prob one of my favorite beers. So screw u and your capitalism. I see, I came, I drank!

Drinking batch 175 Citra Ninja tonight and it is delicious. There are no carbonation issues with this bottle.

 

so it looks like from a couple other untappd reviews i saw, i'm not alone in having a dead flat date sugar yeast magik, and it seems like a lot of people are not alone in having dead flat citra ninja. here's hoping pipeworks is able to figure out the problem and quick - we all know what a rash of flat bottles did to lost abbey's rep.
