    Wow...whoever says Oregon traders are stingy and hold on to their beers for ransom obviously are making a blanket statement. The original beers traded for was the new Blend Love, 2x Fantasia, and batch 2 Four Play. The other EIGHT beers were EXTRAS. Insane. Blown away buy the generosity of this trader.​

    A couple weeks ago I posted a question asking how easy it is to acquire Black Albert. My inbox got flooded with trade offers. I wanted a bottle of Batch 0 to pair with my KtG '12 and Kabert - with eyes on opening all three at some point during the week of my brother's wedding in September. I replied to a couple of the trade offers and was going to work something out - when gklover1 messaged me and said he'd send me a bottle FOR FREE. He'd been the recipient of BA generosity and was passing on the goodwill. Well, the box arrived today:

    - Avery Samael's Ale (a rather potent looking barleywine...as an extra...with the gift of the Black Albert)

    GKLOVER1 is a tremendous BA, and I can't thank him enough for his generosity!! Thanks to him and thanks to the continued goodwill of traders here. Beer people are good people!

    Also, got a box in a California-Vermont trade from my new buddy Gil. We agreed on a trade for the BA Autumn Maple and this was the box:

    The Acer Quercus was an extra! A Bruery collaboration with Lawson's Finest! What a fitting extra for this Vermont boy, can't wait to try both of these beers.

    He's definitely an exception, not the norm so hang on to that guy and don't let go if possible. Also I wouldn't mind if you wanna throw his username my way via BM:wink:
