As of today, there was a case of it sitting on the floor. I should know, I grabbed one straight from the box and bought it. You might want to go in and look. if youre not in the area, let come in and ill show you around.

What was their price? I paid $6.79 at Sam's. I want to make sure I enjoy it fresh before I buy more than 2 (I've actually only had it aged at Brick Store Pub, but that one blew my mind).

Also, I don't know what your last sentence means lol

Gotta give props to my local shop, City Bev in Winston-Salem, NC. I know their prices are a bit high but their selection is awesome and Spencer(the manager) is friendly and very knowledgable about beer. They always have great stuff on tap, so you can have a quick pint while you shop. Bestway in Greensboro is also a great place to shop for beer, although I don't get down there as often as I would like.

I would have to agree. Some of the beer prices are a bit high but it seems to keep things in stock for longer. Plus, it's always nice to hit up their semi-annual tent sales and get 20% off all beer.

i'll agree with soonami and tone77 about State Line Liquors. Awesome selection and the prices are always reasonable (actually extremely fair). I easily could spend hours in there looking over everything. Robert is a class act and always willing to help or just chat. Looks like any other liquor store from the outside but when you walk in you see the difference. I also grew up in Cecil County and didn't know the place existed until about 4 years ago.

Ledger Liquor Berkeley. Ed is always willing to help and occasionally throws in extras for you if you've made a good haul OR takes the tax off the purchase. Love that place.

Anthony and Aaron go a great job getting in a good variety of beer that most in the area don't carry. They are both very friendly and willing to talk beer with anyone who has questions. Also, they frequently have tastings to highlight new beers so you can decide where your beer money is best spent. FB and twitter updates of new arrivals, and a weekly newsletter with upcomming events and specials.

I travel a lot, and hit a lot of places. I'm sure I have something to add, but can't think because I'm too excited to read all of your suggestions. Half the reason I'm posting is to be able to reference this thread in the future during my travels. This could be a monthly manual/travel guide!

I'd add Full Throttle Bottles and second the rest of these with just a little extra emphasis on Beer Junction.

GREAT staff, good prices, nice selection, top-notch growler station, and I like their policy of keeping rare stuff in the back for ``people in the know'' and to make sure one or two people don't hog it all. About the only knock I have on them is that their store growlers are clear and not brown (hey, pobody's nerfect).

Gotta give a shout out to the guys running the beer section and the little bar at the Whole Foods in Pasadena, selection is always great, nice variety of smaller local breweries as well and always something great on tap!
