Drank it earlier.... Count me in the minority but didn't find it outstanding or life changeing. Sample size was somewhat limited...


Good? Sure... But found it lacking a few distinct characteristics I was looking for... Be interesting to see where each person falls on this...

I'm sure the majority will be happy though, I'm just picky.

I called the rayford specs, they said they'd probably get it tomorrow

 

I liked it, but I like regular BBH more.. and I'm a fan of cherries.. there is a bit of that cherry tartness at the end, which kind of covers up a lot of the vanilla bourbonyness IMO.

It is still really good and worth picking up if/when you find some.

 

Agree with you 100%. Had a sample of it next to BB4. BB4 was much better. It could of been the sample size but I didn't get much cherry out of it. So, I had 2nd BB4.

Katy Spec's is out of their 1 case Alotment.

 

Anyone else surprised at the lack of volume of 006? I expected a much bigger release.

 

I expect a large release when I drink one ... I just pre'd thinking about it

 

Not sure why I was thinking it was bigger than 005. I wonder how much San Antonio got?

Called Katy Mills Specs and they told me that didn't get any. It'd be nice if everyone at the store were on the same page. Oh well, it's just beer.

 

Which one on Mason? I was at the one on Highland Knolls and the guy brought out an empty box at 1830?

all I have to say is...the pho dip from 3rd coast HTX food truck (at karbach today) made my underpants feel tight.
