Avery 20th Anniversary XX IPA

wyoming has it too so im sure colorado has it as well

 

I don't know what it is about them, but i REALLY hate Avery's bottle designs.
Might be the tacky gold foil.
Or the redundant oversized A on both the foil and label.

 

Yep, drinking one now in Denver! I'm really impressed. (No big surprise from a hop master). It's so well rounded and clean. This could be a year round release

 

my store got it friday, this one was really sweet but still very good

 

Anyone located this in KY yet?

 

Anyone who claims that Majaraja isn't as good as it used to be needs to drink this beer.

 

Thought it was okay. Much prefer Maharaja.

 

So what is this comparable too? Saw it on the shelf at Mondo Vino in Denver yesterday. I don't like Maharaja, its too dark for my tastes. Prefer citrusy IPAs.

 

It tastes like a lot of fresh hop ipas

We didn't like this brew...almost a moss aroma...with that said their IPAs are classics IMHO, and always a favorite of mine!

 

I found to be hoppy, but overly sweet for my tastes. Similar to most of Avery IPAs.

 

This thread inspired me to open mine. I'm not a huge fan of Avery, but I like this one. Like others have mentioned, it's a bit on the sweet side. The hop profile is nice. I don't think this one would taste very good a month or two from now after the hops fade.

 

I wioll go with hope that it is on shelves in SW Mizzou this week, No telling, very hit & miss across the board on distribution, I've yet to see the great divide's latest anny offering

 

The 20th Anniversary is the best thing that has ever been in my mouth, ever, period. Please consider brewing this again.

I had it on draft at The Beer Market in Lincolnshire/Vernon Hills, IL, just northwest of Chicago. Delicious.
