Thats what I'm talking about. Believe it or not, this website is a "community" in a very real sense. A lot of us know each other on and off the site (which you probably have yet to figure out) and part of what goes on here is my concern. This is where joindate comes in. You have no idea, you just jump in here thinking its some regular website where a bunch of people sit around and talk about beer. Its so much more than that but you're clueless. How many BA's on here do you actually know? How many from other cities or states have you talked with face to face? Have you traded? Been to bottle shares or other BA's houses you've never met? Ever meet any other BA's wives, kids, parents? Ever taken road trips to beer festivals with BA's you first met here?

The answer to most of those is probably no because if it was yes you would understand where I'm coming from. Lol, its also funny how many people on here actually know me (whether they like me or not is another story) but you can judge me by calling my life "boring" without ever meeting me.

It's fine that it doesn't bother you. In matter of fact,I said there would be some people that don't give a shit. I already pretty much know who they are anyways but a lot of people on here do give a shit and I was just pointing out that what they're doing isn't very beer advocate like or cool in general.


Whatever though, you've said enough for most people on here to realize what kind of person you are. Someone who doesn't give a shit about anyone else but yourself and already has this whole BA thing figured out.

1) CoF is not that mind blowingly good. It's ok.
2) MattChow and E-Dubb are good peoples. And they are making a very simple point:

a) if someone has the money, the desire to buy a product, and the opportunity to buy said product, fuck it, let them do it.
b) there's no showing off in this thread. if you don't want to be a hypocrite, you should jump in the haul thread and chastise every single person after they post.
c) its just beer, bro. literally, its just fucking beer. getting butthurt over beer is, well, you can insert your own word here.

ps - I've had many many beers with mattchow and e-dubb and they're awesome. Shit, mattchow and i - among a couple other BAs, shared over fifty beers on friday. Beer advocacy at its finest.

pps - skipped over buying a lot of CoF and BB4 today even though i could because again, its just beer, dude. Not even great beer at that. But believe me, when BCBS and its variants hit town, im going to buy as much as i can, and i will keep it all for myself, AND i will post a picture of my huge haul. Just because i can. And because seeing people get butthurt over beer amuses me.
