Only one stout that's a specialty so far? What's with all of the IPA's? Disappointing. I'll be keeping an eye on the taplist to see if anything of interest comes up, but I'm in no rush.

Not sure about the reason for all the ipas thus far..last year blows this years out of the water so far...still holding out hope for BA Imperial, BBiscuit, 2010 Nemesis, etc.

I'm still holding out for CBS and KBS. As soon as I see that come up, I'm out the door. BA Imperial would be excellent as well.

Yeah, so far last year kicked this years ass. More IPA focused than I prefer this year...

disciple - Do you know how often they're rolling out new brews? Do they have a set rotation time, or is it more when they run out of one brew they put out another?

The reason this event is my favorite is because of the "black"-ness, i.e. stouts, porters, etc. Hopefully things will be less IPA-based when we get there around 3 or 4.

I just asked Founders on their Facebook when the IPA nonsense stops and the stouts and porters start flowing.

Any word on the Baby Nilla Porter? Flavor profiles, etc. It sounds interesting as all get-out.

This is the sole bright spot for me, looking at this list. I love vanilla porters, and would love to know how it is as well.

Yeah if it's any good, I'd be interested in a growler swap. Orange Whip is tapping this week here in DC....

IPA focused? You're out of your mind. First off, blackwoods is an aged version of dirty and that's clearly not an IPA. Next, rock me like a maple cane is a maple barrel aged version of berserker (which is a black IPA) but is on the opposite spectrum of IPA. Out of 16 beers on tap 10 of them are porters and stouts. That doesn't sound very IPA centric to me.
