Voodoo Barrel Room Release 9/28

This will be my first time getting to a release there. I assumed getting there around 8-9am wouldn't be a problem. Should I rethink my plan?

 

Wow, this sounds like it will be better than the Joker and Mr Freeze joining up together.

 

No word on bottle counts yet, so no one can really say. That said, I think last time the folks who rolled up at 8 still got full allotments, if not very close to it.

 

Good to know. I saw 10pm and 11pm the night before and did a double-take. I'm definitely stoked for this release and am definitely looking for a full allotment. Love what they're throwing down for 9/28.

 

My advice would be to continue following this thread and judge your arrival time based off that. I'm personally planning on getting in Friday night again, but I'm also planning on meeting up with a bunch of friends and doing a nice bottleshare (one where I hopefully don't bitch out this time..... ) during the evening while waiting in line.

 

for the march release you had to be in the first 77 or so to get the full allotment. those who got there right around 8am were probably pushing it

 

and here I thought you were just taking it easy that night...

In my defense, I did rally after my initial falter. I don't think I lasted very long afterwards though...

I might show up Friday night as well. Sounds like a great time.

 

I'm shooting for Friday night as well, sounds like bottle share should be a good time.

 

shit, the freezing cold is what kept me going, that and the condensation drip from the tent onto my head...

 

I plan on getting there early Friday afternoon.

 

By about 4am it felt like it was 10 below zero in that tent. I was positive that the heaters weren't working anymore. That is until I went outside. Damn it was cold that night.

 

those heaters only worked it you were less than 3 inches away, and no breeze.
I had to give up and go to the car for warmth around 5:30... got a good 20ish minutes then they started to hand out wristbands.

 

Going back to the car and sleeping in the warmth that night was the best drunken idea I've ever had.

 

Welp. Looks like I'm coming!

 

Heaters not working? i had to take my coat off and stand outside of the tent every so often. Which brings up a very important question, will there be a closed off road and a tent this release?
