Figured I'd throw a plug in for our first anniversary party and Ryeday the 13th release being held at Excel's brewery in Breese, IL. Ryeday is a 12% ABV ryewine aged in Templeton Rye Whiskey barrels. A limited number of bottles will be for sale out of the brewery on Friday, September 13. The anniversary party is Saturday, September 14. Tickets are $30 and include a 750 mL bottle of Ryeday, a commemorative glass, 10 four ounce beer pours (13 beers to choose from) and food. DD tickets will be available at the door and include food and soda. Additional bottles of Ryeday (if available) and tasting tickets will also be for sale. Hope to see you there!

Well, all that barrel-aging really makes that map in your head look fuzzy. :sunglasses:

I posted in the Great Lakes forum as well. Our brewery is in Breese, IL which is part of the Metro St. Louis area. Since Breese is a town of only about 4000, and Clinton County (in which Breese is located) has a population of about 20,000, St. Louis, MO (boasting a population of around 320,000) is our largest market. And that, gentlemen, is why I also posted in the Midwest forum.

It's all well and good, Fine Sir! As it is I'm an old dog who's only recently begun to hear about the beers emerging from this brewery in the eastern suburbs of St. Louis, so I hope that you take neither harm nor foul from my jesting. Indeed I wish the best of luck to you!

(I was mainly goofin' on a habit of our own minnesotaryan. No harm no foul there either, I hope!)
