Assuming you could have an unlimited tap flowing of any one beer for your "house beer", what would it be? I would think you would take into account everyday enjoyment and drinkability on your part (duh), enjoyment of the beer by others and just and overall drinker in general during all seasons. This might even be a beer you can't regularly get in your area, but one that if you could, you'd be drinking. Also for fun, name an alternate.

Tough one for me. Right now I'm leaning towards Dogfish Head 60 Minute. An excellent balanced IPA that I love, a beer that most people seem to enjoy, a beer that is light enough for summer months, but full bodied and heavy enough for the winter months too. Just a solid drinking beer that I can enjoy at any time. My alternate probably would be Nugget Nectar if I could get that year round.

Great Lakes Eliot Ness would be my house beer. A great tasting, balanced Vienna Lager with supreme drinkability. My alternate would be Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier because it's so damn good and I could drink it any day of the week at any time.

All Day IPA. I would have it set up like the drinking fountain in Mr. Deeds.

Bourbon County. I would gain a few lbs, but well worth it.

Second choice would be NG Belgian Red. So refreshing!

Hmmm. If I'd like it to be something I enjoy yet something I could offer to other craft drinkers and non craft drinkers to enjoy as well when they come over. Nothing too high in abv so we could enjoy a good amount of it without getting destroyed.

I think I'd go with Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold

If it has to be a commercial example: Furious, hands down.

Otherwise, I would hope it could be a homebrewed APA.

Then again, maybe I should have something easier to drink...or I would have no friends.

Heady. I do signpostbrewings' Heady clone and that's quickly becoming the "house" homebrew/almost always on tap.
