Karach answered my FB question about 007. They stated not sure of what it will be but has a couple of things in mind. So, it's safe to say we are ateast 5-6 months away from 007. If, it's going to be barrel aged.

I still like buried hatchet, but I'm really excited for next year. I have a friend from PA that is moving to Houston and starting a brewery, and he frequently sends me some of his test batches. Last group was a PBJ stout that was awesome and a cinnamon oatmeal stout that would be a perfect winter warmer.

I had high hopes for Ft. Bend (ordered a pint at FS) when I saw and smelled their stout. Once I felt how thin the body was, it thoroughly disappointed me.

Craft Pride has Hopadillo on tap as of today (about an hour ago) and a cask of Rodeo clown that is waiting to be tapped.

Edit: Whoops, didn't see DonD had posted this same thing.

You can get growler fills of Karbach beers at the Growler Room in Austin, because they drive to Houston and pick the kegs up themselves.

COF at the College Station HEB on Hollemann, so I suspect TowerPoint HEB has it, also. Specs CS was expecting theirs at any time this afternoon. $14.28 at HEB.

Whoa had completely forgotten about that one

I guess I'm referring to more of a regular offering not a one time release

yeah where is this CoF stuff? I found one quiet place with it on tap and it was tasty, it seemed less bold than reg. BBA fighter, but was very refreshing. if only I could score a bottle or two... %&@$ hoarders!

yeah, I was serious, why wouldn't I be?... new here so I'm not hip to all things.
I've been digging around town at the usual haunts, but had work and stuff so I missed out on all the beer lines, and the bottles. When I hear talk of people scoring cases and cases I cry a little and cringe, and yearn for the old days when the beer (even seasonal releases) you wanted was actually there at the store and you didn't have to wait in lines or "know someone". I've seen it popping up on tap in more & more places, so thats good, but damn I was anticipating having a few bottles at home. and I obviously wasn't gonna be the only one. I guess when "cherries" entered the equation everyone rushed in like mad. I guess it's understandable. I've seen tips that there's still some here or there but with my luck I seriously doubt there's gonna be any by the time I got there, been looking around and calling around just the same. A friend of mine had 1 reserved, only to have someone talk the clerk into selling to him :stuck_out_tongue:, of course this must all sound like peon talk to the cabal of bros. who have some system of scoring cases each time rare stuff comes out. More bottles and more limits per customer would be a good thing i think.

Only thing here is that--generally speaking--the "hoarders" are some of the most generous people here. They often sell bottles at-cost to people who couldn't snag any, bring them to shares, et c.
