I wouldn't mind having multiple expected release threads in the future and splitting TX up into 3 or 4 regions. I used to get so confused when people mentioned any HEB location other than Hancock. I still don't know what city half the stores mentioned are.
Though the offers from some BAs to get beers for others shows how generous many of the TX BAs can be

I'm with you. I assume that those I have never heard of are outside of DFW. what trips me up with when people start doing stuff like this WFCD... so I think whole foods, somewhere... but dfw? maybe... maybe not. I dont know them all, nor all the Specs. lol.

I have thought about doing the Smokey and Bandit thing, but you got to have some serious investors (like in the movie), and I hope you've done your homework before making that trip. It's going to be an expensive, and I'm not just talking about gas it takes to get to CO and back.

First, I don't know if you are aware, but you have to have a membership to get your hands on the Reserve Series beers at Crooked Stave. If you are a member (they only sold 400 memberships in 2013), the reserve beers are still running $10 to $12 dollars per bottle, and those aren't bombers! They're basically 12oz bottles (350ml actually). As for the non-reserve beers that anyone can buy, there is a 3 or 6 bottle limit on many of their releases at the brewery. They are cheaper but not cheap. You can run around town buying the few bottles that are available at liquor stores, but you are going to have some trouble filling your car.

And Look at a beer like St. Bretta, for instance - drink a bottle and it soooo much leaves you wanting more. I could easily drink a 64 ounce growler of the stuff in an evening, but I can only justify buying so many bottles of a 5.5% ABV beer @ $6+ a bottle.

Trinity, Funkwerks, Elevation, Crabtree, Paradox - You can find these beers, but a lot of the more desirable labels are really expensive. $16 to $25 per 750/ml bottle is not uncommon. That's why you can buy them. They are priced properly for the market. These beers are very limited, so the price is high. The people willing to shell out the bucks can get them. Hoarders, on the other hand, are going to have second thoughts about accumulating them.

I think the trip is worth it. If you are going to pass through Dallas, I'll place an order with you if you need some investors (I'm serious). Beer mail me.

I have an extra Ballast Point Indra for trade (Houston). Its at my dads so won't pick it up until august 31st. I would like to try some new glarus especially the BW but I know that might be a stretch for someone to have.

since I cant edit my post I will quote my own (think this is the first time I have done that!). When I go up to Dallas in 2 weeks I will stop by a few stores and see if I can find more Indra if someone or a couple of people are interested. Just send me a PM and Ill see what I can get.

This really doesn't pertain to this month, but does anyone have any idea what BB5 and DR14 are going to be? I know FUN 007 is up in the air.
