what does entitlement have to do with my current state of cash flow? I have money from my budget to allocate for beer, sometimes a TX WHALEZ BRO moment happens and I use more money than budgeted to purchase a release. Lets not even factor redistribution into it. I bought 3 cases of it, I'm not worried when my next paycheck comes in, I'm not worried where my next meal is coming from and I'm not worried about having to pay my upcoming mortgage.

I don't feel I deserve the right to buy any limited beer, but if a retailer tells me I can purchase my allocation, in this case, 2 bottles at 10am at downtown specs AND I have the time to be there. Guess what? Opportunity is knocking and ill open the door and be greeted kindly with my two 006s for my money.

What was that? You work hard and make enough money to take time away from your job to go searching for beer? No way you entitled bastard!

If that's your advocacy, I'm glad I'm not a part of it.

#houstonhoarders changing the game and fucking up advocacy since 2012

For every single Karbach F.U.N. release I've stumbled upon bottles without even trying, long after I stood in line or drove all over town looking. Those "old days" you speak of are not gone. With that being said, if you really cared about finding some, you would do the work required to seek out the bottles you want or make friends with someone that can find you some, instead of coming here and complaining.

I walked in to Walgreens today to buy a razor since I felt tired and don't like shaving with my straight razor when I'm tired. Stumbled upon quite a few bottles of COF. Montrose and Washington.

Met Matt yesterday at Specs (no UJ for me :slight_frown:) but he is a stand up guy and trying to get as much of this delicious nectar to as many people as he can that don't have easy access to it and from the sounds of it he does a quite a bit of bottle shares. I'd rather have him as a "hoarder" and share the wealth then someone who buys 2 cases and keeps it all to himself. Sounds silly but it is work to travel around and get all that beer

How much were they asking? I've heard reports of ridiculous prices for previous limited releases there.

they always get karbach releases here. markup is crazy though. were they going for $20? at least it's a last resort for those not able to find any and are getting desperate.

@ mattchow. Well said! I got 9 bottles at another Grocery store out in the suburbs and all I did was call and ask. Oh yeah this was 8 hrs after it was dropped to the store. For those of you that are complaining about people that can take off work to get their bottles can shut your mouth. I got my bottles after being at work for 12 hrs. /rant

D&Q is always going to be pricier because he doesn't have the buying power large stores have. Nothing wrong with supporting local mom and pop shops.
