SWTFYW Hints and Hauls!!!

And my box is on my porch...bad part is I am still at work...

 

Divorce only rears it's head if I jump into another BIF right after this.
Then the hard questions have to get answered;
"what do you like more, me or beer?".
Pretty sure the correct answer isn't "let me think about that, will you?"

 

know the feeling. had to convince the wife that the last box that showed up at the house was just more styro's for me to ship beer OUT in.

 

I can only assume she had an army of people helping her. Those m-f'ers were heavy!

 

Yeah I'm lucky because I own my own business so my wife only sees probably one out ten boxes that come and go from here. Also my storage is actually a creepy cellar at the business that my wife never goes into and we keep inventory for our tiny bar down there. So if she opens the door and ever sees this I'll just be like "That's our inventory honey!"

Holy crap--if that's a beer cellar then there needs to be a different name for what I've been calling my beer cellar.
Something like pathetic little alcohol stash.

 

2 boxes have landed at a bicycle shop in San Francisco as of noon today, though FedEx didn't update their status until recently. Let's hope to see more **** tonight!

 

I will be away next week if my box arrives I won't get it until the 26th. It will give me a reason to go back to work I guess as it will be delivering there.

 

Holy crap!!!! The puts my "cellar" to shame for sure...my "cellar" is now called "the shelf of beer that I do not want to drink right now, that looks nothing like a cellar...".

 

Well good thing this BIF is relocating some of that beer to your shelf. Plus once you post some pics I can remember what I sent you so I can box up #2 to leave on Monday.

 

HAHA...nice...I will post the pics tonight when I get home. I was daydreaming looking at that picture thinking the following: "if this was my cellar, I would have a lot harder of a time picking out the celebratory beer when my first child is born." as it stands now (pre box opening), it would probably be something lame like a 2012 HA Big Hugs or something like that...

BOOOOOMMMM! The 59 pound porch bomb from Steve_Oldrati landed this morning. However, as with many tactical strikes, there was indeed a casualty...



My heart skipped a beat as the FedEx driver offloaded this box from his overburdened hand truck. Soon, the smell
of hops filled my work, and I set to unpacking to investigate the source
of this delicious yet frustrating aroma. This is what I found:



It smelled amazing. Like peaches, mangos, pine needles, and of course hop resin. Further investigation revealed that it had been:



My own hands, not unlike those on the bottle etching stretched skyward while moans of pain and anguish iFlipped up toward the FedEx gods as they undoubtedly pointed and laughed. Further digging in the box revealed a jaw-dropping number of intact bottles, and my spirits lifted once again. Alas, at this point my break was over and I went back to work. I'll post much more
positive photos post haste once time allows.

The bottles that made it in the first of two boxes I have opened have definitely astounded me. I can't wait to open the 2nd box, and I REALLY can't wait even a second more to express my debt of gratitude to Steve_Oldrati for sending such a thoughtful and comprehensive selection. I am truly blown away - thank you, Steve!!

Shit, I'm so sorry man! I thought for sure the tube would protect the growler well Next time I'm home, I'll grab you the best thing they have on tap and send it out your way. Hopefully the rest of the haul made it okay!

 

Box headed westward yesterday, but I was so busy deciding what the f- I wanted to send that I forgot to include SWAG. Dearest target, you're swag will be en route on Monday.
