Ya I'm much more curious on the ping pong skills than the beer... For real.

Maybe just me, but after 4 BB releases and 48 pages might be time to start thinking about a new BB thread?

    Just say'n.

For those of you who have had the base weizenbock, did you have it at a bar that would serve it to-go in a growler?

Just wondering because I was offered a growler or 2 of it from someone who manages a bar in Dallas. I know it's at Craft Pride in Austin but I don't recall if they do growler fills.

Craft Pride sells bottles to go, I am sure they sell growlers as well.

Any word on how limited it is? I was told Dallas got 10 kegs. I wonder how many Austin and Houston received. I'd personally like to see it offered again in the future.

Right! Had no idea they were so expensive. I was hoping since they had the three that it was one of those places that had them priced at $3 lol. Well I downed bb3 cause we were leaving, but I just play for fun and jack around

What was the cost at craft pride? Seen it anywhere else in Austin?

IIRC, it was either $6.50 or $8.50 for BB3, so I'd expect the same here. Just a guess, though!

BB3 was either $5.50-$6.50 but with BB4 the price went up, and the limit was capped at 2 instead of 6. I believe it was $8 with a $1 "corking fee" if you took it to go. But I heard they sold out, you should call to confirm. Banger's, just a few houses down, also had some at $9 each. Draught House had some, I don't know if they still do.

"Corking fee"?! For NOT opening the bottle? Now that's some new shit right there.

I think that's what the guy said. But I don't think he charged me for that, maybe because I recognized him from the Draught House share and I talked to him for a while? I don't think they've ever done that with any other beer, maybe it was exclusive to BB.
