I rather go without SA BB4 than purchase it from that establishment. #BeFriendly

I believe they charge a fee for opening the bottle on premise. There is little to no profit to be made by a bar selling a bottle at or close to the normal retail price. Sometimes you're barely covering labor expenses. Draft beer is obviously going to be the more profitable/cost effective option, so if someone is drinking a bottle instead of draft, a small fee can help cushion the money lost.

On a side note, there is still some bb4 at Bangers, although the St Arnold pubcrawl nearly killed our stock.

Labor costs for a bartender or waiter is dirt cheap

Channing said two bottle limit and 8 bucks each on facebook. I'm going to go at lunch, though I can't drink one there at the time while I eat my sammich.

Sigh... I have only had half a bottle of this and that picture makes me salivate and forget the beer sitting in front of me. Note to self - Buy more BB4 when you get home.

Nobi will still be packed. I hate going to Nobi when it's packed, it's fucking miserable and loud in there.

    Not a big deal.

Is there anywhere else in San Antonio that sells these for around $8. I'll buy BB5 at $12 if I have to, but there's gotta be more places to carry it. Big Hops?

Hah, true but I'm willing to wager the person sitting in the retail shop and the manager don't come quite as cheap.
