Had it on Sunday at a tasting and loved it. Didn't do a side by side (in hindsight I should have). Either way you can't go wrong.

People will always complain no matter what the time frame is

I guess I didn't get my "Craft Beer Entitlement Card" in the mail yet like everyone else did

It wouldn't really be a perfect side by side because the regular MB bottle is this year's 7.8% batch and the barrel aged MB bottle is the original 9.2% batch. Anyway, BAMB is incredible!

That I didn't know. I thought it was the 7.8% version (cause of the label).

I got there a little before 11 to be the first in line. Line moved very quickly and it's a great beer. Really well done. Glad to hear that there will be more later for those who got shut out. Get there earlier next time!

I talked to the woman who works there and she said there was no other barrels filled with MB that she knew of. Take that for what it's worth.

Next time you're at the brewery, take a closer look at the barrels. At least a half dozen or so full of Morning Bell.

Yeah there was definitely more mb in barrels. As well as plenty of night to end all dawn.

Looked to me like there are 4 more barrels filled with MB.

Might have to head to Kane this weekend. From their FB page:

This Saturday at the brewery we will be releasing our newest draft beer, Ripple, an American-style Session Ale. When we began conceptualizing this beer we were looking for the best platform to showcase a relatively new hop called Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand.

We first began really experimenting with Nelson when we were brewing single hop beers for Wolf Among The Seas, in June. We really enjoyed the subtle flavors of gooseberries and sauvignon blanc grapes that characterize this hop. We thought this hop would be a perfect fit for the lighter malt bill of a session ale.

To maintain the body and flavor from such a small malt bill, we added a large amount of low crystals and flaked oats to our base of Pilsner malt. To round out the hop flavor of the Nelson we bittered with a small amount of Simcoe and added Amarillo and Citra to the finish and dry hop.

Ripple has the body, flavor, complexity, and the hop profile you expect from our beers--all at a sessionable 4.6% Enjoy.

Just picked up a growler of Ripple and I'm a huge fan. I could drink this all day (I think that was the intent), so job well done Kane!

Still or again? I was there at the end of June and they were out. Did they get more in and run out again and or they still waiting since June (or before)?

Not sure if anyone knows, but they'll be bringing this along with 4-5 other beers to a tap takeover at Tavern on the Lake in Highstown today.

yea - they haven't had any since June.

Ripple and Single Fin are SOLID.

Also been loving the BA overhead for the past few weeks.
