I guess it never occurred to you that someone may live in NWI, and work in Chicago.

It's called sarcasm (hence the FFF reference). Look it up. Guess people don't get it if you don't

hey guys I will be stopping in chicago this friday with michpaul and was wondering what bottle shops still might have some of the pipeworks beers? I am mainly looking for citra ninja, NVU, and RTA. I was thinking about hitting up the beer temple and a binny's, do either of these places have a good selection of pipeworks?

It's all over the city. Are there bottle dates? Some of their stuff is gonna be fine for months, and some very much not. I bought NVU at Beer Temple on Sunday.

They both have good selections, I just don't know if Citra Ninja or RTA will be part of the selections, with NvU you should have an easier time finding.

Try West LakeView liquors, you can order online for in store pick up. Your not going to find Citra Ninja maybe RTA as they made a huge batch last time around but unlikely.

The Beer Temple just got the new Closer Encounter, "hopped-up Russian Imperian Stout" not even on Pipework's website yet.

Yeah, but Ninja vs Unicorn is fresh. I like a bit better the Citra Ninja personal, though that's not popular opinion. Fischman's in Jefferson Park has some regular Adduction left, and maybe pipeworks glasses left too. I was there on Monday and they opened a new case of glasses... less 3 for me and another one for a slick person by the name of Marie who had her name on a glass behind the counter.

Is the Unicorn no match for the Reaper or just taking autumns off?

Batch 186 had simcoe in it, correct?

I'd like to hear people's opinion. This beer reminds me, unsurprisingly, of Simcoe Ninja. Pretty awesome. Can anyone discuss the differences between the standard recipe and batch 186? AND how much does pipeworks mess with this recipe?

I know they're always messing around, now... But took me a while to recognize this.

Anyone else intrigued by the omission of batch #183 from the website? I'm thinking one of three things:
#1 Web-editing error to be updated
#2 Tasted like dank bathwater, drain pour
#3 Future release as Bourbon Barrel Aged Raspberry Vanilla Truffle Abduction

    I'll take #3 please!

Good chance whatever it is, it's aging in barrels in P-dubs dungeon.

My only request as the namer is that Kuhne does the label again.
