    Someone has suggested it may be their Pumpkin lager barrel aged. God I hope so!

    I'd rather it was their 25th anv. stout that was BA, but I don't think that would have the body to hold up very long in a barrel.

    I wasn't a big fan of the 25th anniversary stout but whatever it is, I'm sure it will be more appealing to me then an apricot beer.

    I got to try the Whiskey Barrel Aged Chad. It was good, but nothing I would describe as "epic." We'll see.

    Lakefront as a whole is a meh to me. Though they have a fun brewery tour.

    That's because they appeal to the vast majority of Wisconsinites who want meh beer. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Didn't say it was bad or good. Just nothing to big on the excitement meter.
    Personally, I like a few of Lakefronts seasonals. Holiday spice is hands down my favorite. Really can't wait for it to come back. This year I'm stocking up. I would put that up against any other Christmas beer and at 11% in 6 packs it is dangerous!

    lakefront makes some good stuff, including their maibock and ipa, dark, others... not meh beer at all. And their sour program is really great, they just need to start bottling more of it.

    Oh, they do makes some good beer, but much of their beer isn't better than comparable styles that I can get. Maybe this beer will be a sour.

    Agreed, the Holiday Spice is great. Also, I think Fixed Gear is a good staple for the fridge. Bridge Burner also a very good Strong Ale...especially at under $5 a bomber.

    I believe they are making a Brandy Barrel Imperial Pumpkin w/ Vanilla. It was on tap at Great Taste labelled as the Vol III Anniversary beer.

    Personally I liked the 25th Anniv Stout...the cherry had a bit of a fake flavoring feel to it but all in all it was fine and highly drinkable.
