I'd even take fresh Centennial... Sadly, 5/26 is the Centennial I'm finding.

Yeah, I've been checking Centennial and Double Trouble at stores, but all I've found have old dates. :slight_frown:

I'm finding Resin hard to beat as a "go to" DIPA. The latest delivery we got is "best before Jan 10 2014". So fresh, So good. $8.49 a 4pk. Yup, hard to beat that.

I second resin as a good go to DIPA.

For you people looking for a DIPA Avery Twenty is starting to hit stores. Picked up one yesterday..

Avery Twenty is still pretty good, but nowhere near what it was about a month ago. Malt is taking over. :grimacing:

Another IPA that rots in a warehouse waiting to be released.

Why can't they just treat all IPAs like Enjoy By?! :slight_frown:

Real Ale is doing a DIPA for the next Brewer's Cut pair. I can't wait for it to sit in the distributor's warehouse for 2 or 3 months before getting to stores.

Can't sell it before the last batch gets gobbled up...

That means we will let 1 beer that is already too old ruin another beer by making it too old.

Shops just need to put the played out Brewers Cut Beers on Clearance and blow them out.

Houston needs an Alchemist Ale...a brewery that focuses solely on perfecting the IPA.

Damn right. I've all but given up on the Maibock since the Blonde Barleywine keeps hanging around.

The Double Jack I have been seeing around Houston is 7/12

I really wish Real Ale would do something about this, because it's got a lot of potential to damage their brand.

It really is! And it's canned, with all the benefits that go with that!

It's good, but it's not as fruity as I like a DIPA.

Where have you been seeing Double Jack in bottles in H-town? Only places I knew of were Specs downtown and HEB Bunker Hill because of the David Walker signing appearance and they both sold out quickly.
