Picked up 2 bottles @ $6.59 in Southern Maine this morning.

Stone IRS 2012 just made its way to Northern Kentucky on Friday. I picked up 2 bottles ($7.99 per). I'll probably pick up a couple more this week. It's a great beer and it ages really well. Last year, I didn't even touch my first bottle for about 9 months.

 

Costco (San Diego) had it at $4.89. I saw quite a few people grabbing cases.

 

not bad. $4.99 for a liquor store is no bad either. they also got barrel roll for $17.99.

 

Hopefully ill still be able to find this in a few weeks.

 

Still nowhere to be found near me. Maybe it got lost in the same place Hoptimum did.

 

Is it better than North Coast Old Rasputin?

 

Yes...by a long shot, Old Raspy is a great beer don't get me wrong but this one blows it out of the water.

Stone IRS is definitely bigger than ol' raspy in every way. I had one (a stone) next to a Ten Fidy the other night though, and really thought the TF beat the crap out of the stone.

 

It really makes no sense, my area would never miss stuff like this usually, but this and Hoptimum are the main ones I have yet to see. I wonder if it is some distributor issue or something.

 

I was searching for the new releases at one of my "hole in the wall" stores - no 2012s yet, but found some 2011!

BTW, said store is called "Center Beverage" in Stoneham, MA

 

Yeah definitely better than old rasputin, but still, for the price, and the fact that it's a year round 4 pack you can't really go wrong with old rasputin.

 

Dammit, I KNEW there was something I forgot to remind the beer buyer at work to order. Fingers crossed he remembered on his own.

 

Where should I be looking for this in California? I live in Sonoma county which is a mecca for this sort of thing, but I haven't seen a drop of this yet.
