Anyone know of a store that still has some? My buddy lives in the Garden Oaks area and was looking for a bottle.

Karbach is going to be at Houlihans off of Blanco and 1604 on Thursday night between 7:30 and 9:30. They are serving Hopadillo and the first 60 people get to keep the glass. I am going to get one of those glasses.

Awesome good to see so many houston folks here. How is everyone enjoying Karbachtoberfest? My first sip wasn't encouraging. But this is not a style I generally go for anyhow. Generally feel Karbach can do no wrong though, i think I owe it another chance.

I just came in here to post that. Looks like a good time to me. Sour pumpkin? Sounds odd.

    HA!

I had that at the Saucer when they were calling it "Buffalo Trace Barrel Aged Krunkin Pumpkin" - notice the lack of sour.

It's not sour. It's infected. And it's bad.

Sounds odd, but I know I would buy some if I was there. I love me some BBA beers.

Yep, exactly this. I had high hopes for this beer, but it's infected. A terrible mess. :slight_frown:

I really hope the Karbach isn't trying to dump a bad batch on consumers. It would definitely change my opinion of them if true

Well they know they can get away with it. Check the untappd checkins and most people are like "yum," "another karbach hit," "pumpkin pie," etc.

But talk to anybody who, say, tried the RC Small Batches, and tried this beer and they'll all tell you it's garbage, an infected mess of nastiness.

Being a fanboy's brewery makes it easy to put out bad batches and get people to buy fast/expensive. [c.f. Roll in the Hay].

And I liked Voodoo #2. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Just didn't seem like they actually went for quality on that one to me. I may be in the minority on that though.
