NBO: Sour BIF 5

To be fair-- I wasn't following this thread because it is the NBO thread, not a Hints and Hauls one!!!

I should have continued reading the rest of the thread before posting...
I came to this page and saw very obvious hint that it was me for sure.
And I just got home from work and found a box from WA state...

I think I'm going to have dinner, do some chores, put the kids to bed, paint my sunroom, and them go to bed.
Perhaps I'll find time during my landscaping work tomorrow to open this thing.

Though to settle the nerves-- it did arrive safely, and it is a 6 bottle styro! I imagine there will be some homebrews in there eh?

 

Ok-- here's the haul;

Cork and Caged La Folie - no discernible vintage, but it says "hand bottled 1/9 324"

Cascade Blueberry Sour - awesome.

Cantillon Lou Pepe Kriek 2008 - ahhhh. My favorite brewery!

Glad everything arrived safe and sound. Blueberry is drinking quite nicely if your a fan of them being juicy and more balanced.

I believe the La Folie is an '08 but only Senior lazerlobe can confirm or deny this.

I'll be shipping to a BA who lives less than a 1,000 miles away from me.

 

The La Folie is an '09 but should be up to snuff. Sorry about the lack of homebrew or others to fill the slots (I only had one on deck and it's been filed under the "beer I enlist friends to help me finish off" category). Let's regale each other with brews again in the near future.

 

Hint: my box box will be traveling less than 1500 miles to its destination.

My target will be receiving all wants and some vintage wants.
Should have the box out by Tuesday.

 

My target's beer is currently in NY state and heading west, so says the tracking.

Ok-- just boxed mine up... I had a really shitty month so I didn't trade for anything special for this one... I did grab 3 bottles from my cellar stash that are all wants though.
So hopefully my target enjoys the box that arrives on Wednesday (or possibly thursday).
