There was enough interest after round 3 that I think there are enough people ready to get round 4 rolling. As you can see, although we share the same stunningly good looks, I am not Brady. He is on a brief hiatus from trading/BIFing, so I am going to keep the ball rolling until he is ready to take the reigns back.

This one is simple: minimum of 110 oz. of Barrel-Aged beer, non specific to Oak, Bourbon, Rum, Brandy, whatever. Stouts, Barleywines, Sours, anything that says in either the description or actual name of the beer says ____-aged, it’s fair game. I think that it’s pretty clear whether a beer has been barrel aged or not (I’ll include technicalities such as “aged on oak chips,” etc…)

Extras are extra, and can be non-specific. Previous BIF experience needed for this one, and lower 48 only. I’ll be taking 50 participants again this round, and priority will go to those who have joined the BA Goodness BIF in the past rounds. Private message only counts as a signup, don’t just comment in the thread “In.” You won’t be counted until I receive a private message.

Here’s the info I need from you in a Private Message:

    Real Name
    Address
    Phone
    Email
    Shirt Size (OPTIONAL)

Please make sure you send me all info above

After I fill up the roster, I’ll assign targets. Ship date is September 27th, which is 4 weeks from this Friday, August 30th, which will also be the last day for signups. I am allowing an extra week due to the holiday being in there. Targets will go out within a day or two of a filled roster. If you cannot commit to completing this by then, please don’t sign up. Last round, I only had 1 ship after the final day, and it was only a day after, which was much better than the first round. Feel free to ship as soon as you get your target.

Any late boxes, without prior approval of tardiness, will be reported to the BTL immediately. No excuses. I also reserve the right to refusal of anybody signing up. Please understand that I am looking for some quality BAs to join, and because of issues with previous BIFs recently, I'll be doing some investigating into trade and BIF histories on anybody I find questionable.

And if you've never participated in a BIF previously, sorry, but the answer is no. Please keep your eyes peeled for n00b BIFs and other entry level 'IFs, as those are a good way to get your feet wet.

Any questions or concerns, please post on the thread, as well as interest. Just remember to shoot me a BM if you want to sign up. This is a really fun BIF with lots of good brews,

    Cheers,

    John

It wouldn't be that much in shipping costs for him to ship them to Michigan.

It may be even closer to send them to Philly. Hell, I could probably meet half way.
