my fav is Hardywood Farmhouse Pumpkin - it's a saison.

a few years ago the local Whole Foods ran a 6-way blind pumpkin beer tasting over the course of a weekend between Weyerbacher, Southern Tier, Dogfish, Alewerks, Schlafly and Sam Adams. a day or so afterwards they posted the results and it wasn't even remotely close; Alewerks won by a landslide!

Different from all the rest, but my big favourite would need to be JP La Parcela.

It used to be Schlafly...and it was a no doubter.

Now it's Almanac's Pumpkin Barleywine. And it's not even close.

Pumpking for me, just picked up a bottle. Doesn't seem right drinking it yet, too hot to get in the mood right now and football hasn't even started yet.

Just don't like them, really any of them, too much spice.

Out of the dozen or so I've had, there are three that I come back to every year:
    Pumking, from Southern Tier
    [IMG]
    Smashed Pumpkin, from Shipyard

...and Punkin from Dogfish Head (hasn't shown up here yet this year )

...and I happen to have really liked these three when I had them in the past...
Oak Jacked Imperial Pumpkin from Uinta
    [IMG]
Treat (Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Porter) from Midnight Sun - on the site not categorized as a pumpkin ale, but it may as well be.
...and Heavy Seas - the Great'er Pumpkin (aged in bourbon barrels) from Heavy Seas - no pic :slight_frown:
