I actually have enjoyed every beer I have tried from Mikkeller and Evil Twin. Their beers are quality but way too overpriced IMO. (Here in America mulder1010)

that's funny, I don't think I've seen Hottenroth on a shelf before (weird) though I have had it at the brewery. Haven't bought Mischief on its own either.

Fruet was actually the most expensive bottle of beer I've ever bought - totally worth it though.

Six packs are always cheaper (per ounce) than bombers. You buy a lot more beer in a six pack, so you get a price break. Buying a case is cheaper (per ounce) than a six pack. If the sixer wasn't cheaper per ounce, THAT would be weird.

It's all a matter of disposable income...And it is "that" good too me.

Where are you buying FFFs? It's only 10$ a six pack at the brewpub. Usually 11 to 12 in stores. I will admit the bombers are a bit expensive but fresh arctic panzer and dreadnaught are unbeatable.

And it only requires them to be in all 50 states, Japan, and god know's where else.
Meanwhile, New Glarus is in 1 state and is larger than Rogue. I will never get tired of laughing about that fact. :grinning:

The Fed devaluing the shit out of the $ at it's finest I think you mean.

edit: Also, I am going to be the a-hole that says if you are that sensitive to price when it comes to good beers (bruery, mikkeller, and some others mentioned) may I suggest some PBR and Jameson? Or if that is "overpriced" perhaps some thunderbird?

Rogue, for sure. A lot of the DFH big bottles are extremely overpriced.

"Overpriced" is relative. I'm sure Evil Twin, Mikkeller, The Bruery, etc. make great beer, but nothing could possibly be worth anywhere near 75c-$1/oz to me.

Mikkeller!!!! Central Waters 4-packs of BB beers have gotten overpriced. Except at Woodmans where most are $9.99 and $11.99, but in places like Binny's, $14.99. Lagunitas six packs seem pricey to me.

Ya, if you think $6 for a shitty 12oz single hop beer ($36 six pack) that god only knows how old it is, might as well get PBR.
Nah, I'll take my 6 bucks to Trader Joes and grab a fresh sixer of Mission. St Pale Ale.

Had it at a tasting event. At that price point I expected something spectacular. It wasn't. It was a decent coffee stout with not a lot of complexity. Not drain pour, by any means, but not worth the ticket. I don't mind drinking it, but I am not buying it.

What this dude said,"edit: Also, I am going to be the a-hole that says if you are that sensitive to price when it comes to good beers (bruery, mikkeller, and some others mentioned) may I suggest some PBR and Jameson? Or if that is "overpriced" perhaps some thunderbird?" If you want low price and high quality, maybe crazy beer isn't for you, we'd all like 10 dollar bottles of Beauregarde and 10 dollar bottles of red poppy in 750's...but in ALOT of the beers mentioned, especially the Bruery, 9 times out of ten, you get what you pay for,a crazy barrel aged sour with blueberries..and then there is the what is overpriced to each person, 20 bucks for a 22 is not out of the question, neither is 40 for a 750, as long as the price warrants, I personally have never had an expensive drain pour.

Everything I've had from The Bruery justified the price. If the quality is there, I don't mind paying for it.
