This is true, and also why Lagunitas/Stone IPA costs about twice as much as Lagunitas Daytime/Stone Levitation

I know that the malt bill is not the only factor in the cost. I was commenting on that the beer will probably be nothing like the New Glarus.

From the description in the store:
blended with white oak sap, guess I should max allocation

Went from "eh" to "I should probably try this" with that fact included. White Oak Sap = the bollocks.

Went with 2 & 2 of Praecocia and Windowsill. Blew my load on the extra allocations of Crooked Stave stuff. Looking forward more to Windowsill than Praecocia.

I will be maxing out Windowsill, and probably get 2-3 Praecocia. Berrys+rhubarb+white oak sap = what sounds to be a great combination. I always looked forward to rhubarb coming into season growing up (grandpa's rhubarb coffee cake and pies) glad to see it has made it into a Bruery beer.

Has anyone had Windowsill yet? My favorite style is Bourbon Barrel Sours that make the sweet and sour complex beers. I am a big fan of Cascade Sang Noir, Manhattan, Boulevard Love Child #3 and Melange #1 for example.

Obviously windowsill isn't Bourbon Barreled but it is Barrel aged and should be on the sweeter side trying to mimic pie. I guess I am trying to find out if this will be lightly tart (Hottenroth) or more traditional sour like Oude Tart?

It says you have until 9/6. If your CU doesn't have a new card to you by then, you need a new CU

Wonder when Praecocia will pop back up on the store. Couldn't afford to buy any when they were originally up since hoarders buy in bled me dry. Wouldn't mind picking up a couple bottles now.

I had Windowsill at the bruery didn't really like it at all. Tasted a bit like window cleaner.

Windowsill and Praecocia aren't very good. Glad I only bought a couple bottles.

Typical CA traders devaluing their beers. :grinning: I only ordered two of each beer. If the last 2-3 posters were being sincere, I guess I wasted less money than I could have.

Windowsill & Praecocia aren't bad at all. I had a Windowsill last week and thought it was pretty awesome. I guess Rhubarb is considered window cleaner. Had Praecocia on tap and thought it was exactly what it was supposed to be (Apricot ale).

No. It's typical Bruery and their expensive experiments which don't always pan out.

I thought Windowsill was disappointing. It's an decent sour, but the rhubarb really didn't shine through at all. Just a bit of overripe something flavor, nothing like a rhubarb pie.

If I was going to buy a bottle it would be to pour it in a giant pitcher with a couple slices of rhubarb pie.
