Bizarre, but I'd try it. A little on a sausage with homemade mustard may work pretty well.

I would buy it just to try it. Who knows, it could be good. I will always try something first before saying that it is "gross".

I could have used a knife and fork with the Rabid Duck I drank last night at write night. At least that was the opinion of my friend, lifelong Michelob Original lover, after sipping from my glass. Love this beer.

I would give this a taste right away, we have a lots of beer cheese in blocks or spreadable form so can't be that big of a difference

Sure, so would I. But I feel pretty comfortable calling it Gross beforehand.

To be fair, spreadable beer has way more potential than Rogue.

How is this any more "gross" than say cooking w/ beer or making a sauce from beer or the ever popular beer float or just plain beer and food pairing? Don't see what makes "spreadable beer" that much of a departure.
And food is damn near sacred to Italians. If it wasn't brilliant they wouldn't do it.

If they make a stout spread with chocolate or peanut butter, I'm sold.

I would definitely try spreadable beer before I tried Vegemite.
