Mods, if this comes off too much as promotion, please delete. It won't make us any extra $ as the bottles are sold either way. We get these questions frequently so thought I'd post here.

    First Bottle Release:
Releasing 'Mulligan', our spontaneously gin barrel fermented India Wild Ale at Tin Bucket this Thursday from 5-7pm. 12 cases at the release of 750ml bottles. Price to be determined by Tin Bucket. I believe they are limiting it to 2 bottles/person depending upon turnout.
    Also on tap:

Cranberry Bu Weisse (batch#2): a sneak peak at the upcoming bottles of cranberry Berliner aged in second use gin barrels. More elegant and nuanced than batch one. While we liked that, we really believe this one is even better.

Saison Desay: our spontaneously fermented historic styled farmhouse ale. Aging very nicely based upon my last sample.

Italian Plum Desay: same as above, but aged in barrel with Italian Plums.

Bu Weisse: our base Berliner. Last batch of the season.

Houblon Red: our spontaneously fermented double India Red Ale. Aged in second use Bourbon and Red wine
    Barrels.

And of course Mulligan on tap.

Also, our tasting room in Tillamook should be open in about three weeks. We are using this location for experimental releases on tap and in bottle, and the majority of our bottles will be sold through here. We will be having a grand opening party once we have a final date locked down, with a bunch of our favorites on tap and in bottle, such as Loak Bean (Loak with coffee, vanilla, and cacao), Blu Weisse, CranBu, etc.

Thank you all for the support as we get going.

Yes. Will Tin Bucket be filling growlers of the beers you listed?

You know me and De Garde growlers. Gotta catch em all!

Definitely too much promotion. No one needs to know about this. Nothing to see, move along.

Also, if this batch of Cranberry Bu Weisse is even better than the first, my head may explode.

I found it significantly better. But everyone has a different palate. Longer aging gave it a more delicate and complex profile, and slightly backing off on the cranberries really added depth. I wish we had more, but the single barrel only yielded two kegs, and about 10 cases, probably releasing in about two weeks (hopefully coinciding with th Blu Weisse release and tasting room opening...).
    And thank you!

The first batch was amazing! I didn't share it with anyone! Hopefully my buddy can make it out to this! De garde is the brewery on the top of my list to try them all!

Shmeal if your pikachu can I get a Pokemon name?

Cranberry Bu Weisse is absurd. If this new batch is actually better, I will have to stock up.

    You can be pidgey.

I'm jealous. All the way up here in Seattle. I hate you PDX guys.

Trevor, what is it that makes the Bu the last batch of the season?

    Cheers!

We just don't think it'll be a great winter brew.

Don't worry guys, came in on my day off to make sure everything's tasting good. Mmm, cranberry bu  Also, the driving and parking around here is a bit nutty right now with New Seasons just opening across the street.

Anyone know which PDX shops got Blu Bu Weisse yesterday? I'm heading up in about an hour, *hoping* a bottle or two might be left somewhere.
