Heading back 'home' from Chicago to visit family in NE Ohio this weekend and would love to locate some Jackie O's while in town. I used to work at O'Hooley's (Jackie O's previous incarnation) while attending Ohio University and would love to enjoy some before my next trip to Athens.

Any ideas of bottle shops in NE Ohio that might be able to scratch the itch?

    Cheers!

You'll be able to find Chomolungma Brown Ale and Firefly Amber Ale cans at most stores, like Rozi's (Lakewood), Warehouse Beverage (S. Euclid), Save-On Tobacco & Beverage (Mentor).. Save-On had cans of Mystic Mama the other day but I think they sold out, but Warehouse Beverage got some in today.. that's all we get in NE Ohio, just those 3 can offerings, no bottles.. I think Rozi's has some other Jackie O's beers on-tap currently, but i'd call first..

Cheers to all. Sounds like a stop at Warehouse Beverage is in my future.

Anyone know if they sell any Jackie O's at Lizardville in Copley? A little more 'on the way' for me...and a stop I definitely want to make for lunch beers and to stock up on some Ohio singles. 101 Bottles in Kent will be a stop as well.

Rozi's had their beers last Sunday as well as Circle A beverage in North Royalton. Also saw their brews today while visiting EZ Shop for the first time.

Don't see any Jackie O's on tap / can for Lizardville in Copley, although it wouldn't hurt to give them a call. I know The Wine Spot on Lee Rd. in Cleveland Heights got Mystic Mama in the other day, as well as Chomo and Firefly. Looks like 101 Bottles got Mystic Mama in 2 days ago.

Glad to see fellow Bobcat on here by the way. Never truly appreciated O'Hooley's / Jackie O's brews until I left.

Lizardville doesn't do the best job of consistently updating their bottle list on their website. The Lizardville in Bedford had JO cans, so I'm assuming the one in Copley does as well, but I'd still call..

Found all three canned Jackie O's varieties at the Copley Lizardville this afternoon. A lovely place, indeed.

Glad you found the Jackie O's brews. When I was at OU years and years ago it was still O'Hooley's, but the beer there is much better nowadays!

Based on your username, we may have been in the same class at OU. And I tended bar at O'Hooley's way back in 95-96. I do agree that the beer list has vastly improved since then, but they did have North Coast Red Seal Ale and Old No. 38 Stout well before I found it anywhere else.
