Stopped by Table and Vine in West Springfield, MA on my way home from VT looking for some Larry cans. No cans to be found but I grabbed a bomber with a Best By date of 11/02/13. What's their general window for freshness dating on Larry (4-6 months)?

I think all there beers are 5 months out of the BB date, at least that's what I was told by a Wachusett rep recently.

What a winner. Great beer, perfect packaging, and great price ($10.99 at Gordon's). As I suspected, it'll be a regular in our house.

I'd like to complain about the 10% markup (compared to RedStone), but still a tremendous value.

I know. I almost passed on it knowing that it was $9.99 elsewhere, but then I decided that that was stupid.

Phooey. The only store I've seen this at so far in Western MA priced it at $15, very near the bomber price.

Anyone seen these south of Boston yet? I haven't even seen Larry bombers in over a month...

I found it to be like every other beer I've had from wachusset in the last few years (except their country ale which I still think is their best beer for the style) - cleanly brewed and competent, but probably not something I would spend money on again.

I grabbed a 6 pack at Wines & More in Mansfield for $11.49 today but only saw a 5 pack left. Looking forward to drinking it, been a while since I've had Larry and even longer for fresh Larry.

What store and/or town, if you don't want to call them out?

I haven't seen the sixers near me yet, but I can get Newburyport Greenhead IPA 6-pack cans for $9.99, and they are pretty great at that price. Anyone had both recently and have a preference?

Julio's can't even keep these in stock. Went by 2 weeks ago and got one. Stopped in today none to be seen on shelves. Did not ask but would think such a local beer would be on shelves. I brought my 6 pack to a buddy in IL. He loved it and request I toss more in the mail. Happy to say I am spreading the word on an awesome mass DIPA in a can. Make more Wachusett. Forget about bottles. Also Wormtown take notice can Be Hoppy and Hopulence

Be Hoppy would be awesome in cans. Never had a Larry's will have to see if I can find the cans. In fact I think I have only had one Waschusetts brew in my life and I dont remember it standing out/being memorable. If I find these for a reasonable price I will have to check them out.

Bottles of Larry are easy to find and be aware they may be old. Cans were released about a month ago. Plus they have a best by date. The cans I got were good till Nov 2013

On the bottom of the can they have a Best By date, the cans I had were 12/23/13

Be Hoppy would be awesome in anything but a bomber. It's rare that I buy anything other than very special releases in bombers these days. Just getting tired of being ripped off
